Family-friendly Hotels in Yi County

I am very satisfied with this stay. We are traveling by car and have our own parking space. It is not far from Hongcun and Xidi. The hotel environment is very good and has its own unique sense of high-end design, with the design of Huizhou architecture. The service of the hotel itself is enthusiastic, proactive, efficient and thoughtful. The rooms are quiet, bright and comfortable. It is worth recommending! !

Many years ago, I went to climb Huangshan and fell in love with Hui-style architecture. This time, I took advantage of the short holiday to drive to the ancient villages of Huangshan. I first came to the famous Hongcun and chose the Shilili Hot Spring Hotel. I felt relaxed when I came to Anhui. I don’t have to worry about the small amount of dishes when dining, and I don’t have to worry about people always hinting at you to buy things. The folk customs of Anhui are still worthy of praise! The hotel consists of seven or eight ancient Hui-style houses. Hongcun is just opposite. There are many people in Hongcun during the short holiday, but not many people in the hotel. The pavilions and corridors complement each other. The front desk and the manager are also very enthusiastic. The baby said that it is more interesting to appreciate the architecture in the hotel than in Hongcun.

The hotel is very close to Hongcun and Pingshan, and not far from the town. You can go out to eat local dishes at night. I am not used to staying in private B&Bs, and I think it is good to see this kind of regular star hotel with a good environment. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good and not perfunctory. There are no shopping malls in the whole Yi County.

Banyan Tree Huangshan is undoubtedly a top-notch hotel. The hotel is strategically located at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, adjacent to the ancient Huizhou village of Lu Village, and the hotel design itself is also an imitation of the Huizhou architectural complex, so being in it is like being in an ink painting. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained, and each place and room gives people a clean, warm, comfortable and close to nature feeling. Compared with the above-mentioned hard facilities, the service here is also excellent, especially the housekeeper Eima, who arranged the whole process properly and attentively, and maximized the satisfaction and provision of various services, so that we had a very perfect and satisfactory experience at Banyan Tree Huangshan. In addition, other staff including front desk Li Bin, housekeeping Jin Yiming, and every shuttle bus driver, all warmly received and efficiently served us. In short, if I come here again, I will choose to stay at Banyan Tree.

Because you need to stay in Hongcun, I booked this one on Trip.com. The facilities are very new and the sanitary conditions are very good. It is very convenient to drive to the scenic spot for ten minutes. The hotel staff are very warm and enthusiastic. There are many shops around the hotel and shopping is convenient, but it is quiet at night. Very good value for money, very satisfied.

We stayed at this hotel at 6 o'clock in the evening of November 11, because my wife and I were traveling by car. The original intention was to find a hotel where you can park safely. When you checked in, you got the warm help of the two girls on duty at the front desk. (I regret that I forgot to ask their names) I explained to us the famous scenic spots, driving routes, and surrounding food in Jixian County. It was really thoughtful. The parking lot of this hotel is large and safe (free for in-house guests). Thank you for these two front desk waiters. I will stay here in Jixian next time. 😊

Hongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

A beautiful homestay, especially the tea room, study, and small meeting room on the first floor, which are beautifully colored and perfect in details. The second floor is the guest room, the third floor is the restaurant and terrace, and there is an elevator. The room is also clean and spacious. The breakfast is particularly good, the auntie is friendly, the terrace has a good view (Figure 10), and parking is also convenient. The only drawback is that the environment at the door is average, the homestay is not along the road, and a sign can be erected on the road. It is easy to miss, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Hongcun.

This location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.

The area is large enough and the service is good enough. The first floor is dining. The second, third and fourth floors are guest rooms. It takes a few minutes to walk from the entrance of the scenic spot. The store also provides pick-up service. This is my final choice after comparing it for a long time.
