The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!

I also stayed in Poxin at the foot of Sanqing Mountain a long time ago. Booking the Ming Jing Garden in Xidi this time was beyond my original knowledge. First of all, we have to praise the owner of Minsu Hotel. He was very responsive to our requests. He helped us with our luggage, arranged carpooling, and asked us if we needed to change our supplies (because we stayed there for two consecutive days). Secondly, the decoration style of Minsu Hotel is also great. You can see the staggered eaves through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep on, and the quality of the toiletries is also very good. If there is any shortcoming, it is that the induction mirror is too sensitive. For girls who love to be pretentious, there is a lack of a makeup mirror and a full-length mirror.

Four families came to Hongcun with friends and booked this B&B. We booked four rooms, each with its own characteristics. Awesome! Everything from the decoration to the bedding and the location was good. It rained on the day we checked in, and the boss picked us up with an umbrella. When our shoes were dirty, he gave us a shoe brush. When children need to print homework, the boss is also eager to help with printing. It’s really a must. I will choose here again next time I come.
