Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Leonardo Cypria Bay. We came as a group of around 100 for a wedding and I am going to provide a completey honest opinion on all aspects of the hotel When we arrived we were greeted and provided with a drink by the most lovely gentleman, I forgot his name but we chatted a few times and he told me how he has worked there since the hotel opened and he was super helpful and friendly throughout the whole holiday!! Rooms - We booked a pool view family room which when we arrived found where only on the reception level and ground floor. These are the rooms with a large bed and two singles. We were initially put on the reception level which I was quite dishearted with as all the family rooms are separated by a small fence and not a wall so there is no privacy what do ever, also instead of a balcony there is a large wall so if you sit down you have no view what so ever. We complained to reception and was shown another family room on pool level, the room was slightly bigger and in the end we really appreciated being so close to most amenities. The room itself was great and very spacious for the 4 of us. Food - The food at this hotel is typical all inclusive, it's nice enough but we did venture out a couple of nights as well. The food is also on a repeat every 7 in the main restaurant so if you are staying 10 days you will have a few nights then same. There are 3 a la carte restaurants on site. We visited the Asian which I would recommend, didn't bother with Greek or stars and stripes as other members of our party went and said it wasn't worth it. Snack bar has same food everyday but all fresh and easy for people to access if you didn't want to eat in the main restaurant. Pool - There are three pools, indoor pirate ship and the main pool. When we initially arrived mid May the main pool was quite cold for the kids so we went in the indoor pool a couple of times but as the week went on the pool for warmer. We went before half term so it was quiet but when half term started the pool was very busy. Drinks - In this hotel there are two types of wristbands, the normal and premium upgrade. The normal wristband gets you most cocktails and house beer wine and spirits. You can however upgrade for €25 per adult per day so it's €50, however if you win some competitions they do give you offers. You can upgrade at any time and when you do you are entitled to more choice of drinks including bottled beers, cider, some other cocktails and branded spirits, with the upgrade you also have access to another private lounge which offers gourmet snacks and a small soft play for younger kids. We did upgrade half way through and would recommend. Big shout out to the bar staff by the pool and in the lobby, always remembered your drink and always had a smile on their face!! Entertainment team - During the day there was lots of different activities, including ping pong, darts, bowls, water aerobics and even Greek lessons. I really thin
