Friendliest staff and best food of any hotel we’ve been to. Ideal beachfront location, close to bars, shops and water sports vendors, day and evening activities were excellent…can see why so many people return here multiple times

Excellent Hotel and absolutely the best customer service ever. This Hotel goes above and beyond to make everyone's stay so good. The staff work so hard to make your stay so enjoyable. The food is the best I have had in any Hotel. The location is great and it is adults only!! When you arrive you are greeted with a glass of sparkly, water and juice. In your room you also get a large bottle of water next to the coffee and tea, and also 2 small waters in the fridge. you also receive a plate of fruit and a botte of wine. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. I would prefer a walk in shower rather than one over the bath although it was a good big fountain shower. The Hotel is right on a private beach although the beach is not the same as they are in the Ayia Napa or Protaras. We did this hotel after our cruise around the Greek islands and loved it, We are the biggest fans of Cyprus having lived in Ayia Napa and that is where we return to every year in September and when ever we can, but after a cruise I would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stayed at the Pioneer beach in early July. The staff are very friendly and we were upgraded to a suite that was very nice with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The only downsides to the room were the lack of phone charging points by the bed and very narrow balcony with a view over car park/road rather than the gardens promised. The pool is lovely and warm but you had to get up at silly o clock to get a spot on the small number of beds right by it, with other beds on grass or by the beach. Overall we felt we were misled by Tui in that this is a 4* not a 5* hotel. Waiter service was sporadic by the pool and the 3 a la carte restaurants basically served the same menu. The buffet restaurant was nice and we always found something to eat. The rooftop bar has lovely views and serves better cocktails than the pool bar. The entertainment was welcome in the evenings and we particularly enjoyed the silent disco on the last night. The hotel is about an hours walk from paphos harbour with not much to do in the vicinity but the walks along the coastal path are very scenic. The beach is small and the sand is fairly pebbly but the protected cove is nice to swim in with amazing sunset views.

Just arrived back from this amazing hotel, we had such a wonderful time again. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They all work so hard to make your holiday special. As soon as we arrived we was greeted with friendly reception staff and introduced to Valia who helps start your holiday off by talking to you about the hotel and making clear if you need any help they are happy assist. This is our second time at this hotel and we will be back again. Thank you again to all the staff at pioneer.

Wow is all I have to say. We originally chose this hotel in a standard room half board but chose to upgrade to all inclusive then upgraded the room to a superior room so we had more access to the Al a carte restaurants. We are so glad we did waiter service across the hotel in the day and also the evening. Premium drinks were mostly included and a good list of cocktails which were all good. The breakfasts are amazing so much choice. We ate in the Al a carte restaurants a lot which you book through a app, the food was out of this world and the setting was perfect to be sat outside eating overlooking the sea whilst watching the sun set was magical. One of the Al a carte restaurants opens in the day for lunch which anyone can go to with out booking which was also as good. Lots of activities on all through the week ranging from food stations for smoothies as you walk into breakfast and sunset cocktail party with champagne. The evening entertainment was varied and very good something for everyone silent disco and outside movie night were very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and most definitely would love to return.

Not the welcome I'd imagined having read tge reviews and studied the hotel via TUI APP and watched videos on their Facebook page absolute cat fish , we arrived today Sunday 27th July no running water in the room " due to the electric fault they're telling me" the bathroom door jams closed nightmare to get in out out feel like yoh have to almost break it to get in or out. The lobby smells old and musty like a damp smell the lift is out of order and the WiFi is not working only thing working in the building seems to be the lighting in some areas and the air conditioning, my missus is a doctor she works really hard as do myself in logistics I've paid a lot of money to bring her here and this is a massive disappointment looking area the hotel trying to put the situation behind me I cannot fathom how TUI have rated this place as 5 star and there is sk many positive reviews I'm shocked.
