Lovely property, nestled in the midst of a coffee plantation. Very peaceful serene atmosphere. Although peace was shattered for a while by some loud uncaring guests. Lovely delicious food , local fare as well as North Indian, continental….. . Very caring ,courteous staff right from check in to check out. Lot of opportunities for trekking in complete solitude and silence only broken by chirping of birds and insects.

Lavender Cottage is a detached chalet, with modern and old fusion, everything you will need for a cosy getaway, it is surrounded with outstanding rural views and there are plenty of local places of historical interest to visit nearby, also great for people who enjoy the great outdoors with plenty of walks, cycling routes in the nearby Forest of Dean and horse riding. May hill itself is a fantastic place to visit with outstanding panoramic views . There are lots of local places to eat.

Very average stay. Rooms - clean and maintained. Took a valley view room but the view from balcony was quite ordinary and not worth the money. Food - extremely low on quality. Even the salad was not fresh. Cost - absolutely not worth the money. Property - still under construction from outside. Staff - not proactive at all to check the comfort of customers. Good when u approach them. Overall - just cannot recommend to anyone.

Stayed for 2 nights in villa with private garden. It was very beautiful and room was clean and big. We went with baby and even the baby enjoyed as it was spacious to play around. Food was okay but could get food for the baby also.
