What a gem! We went to Yellow Springs on a whim overnight and this hotel was perfect. Super, super clean, comfortable and within walking distance to all of the shops, the brewery and eateries and a minute's drive from the amazing parks nearby.

Great hospitality and accomodations. Good breakfast and service. Very convenient to access the shops, restaurants and surrounding area parks and trails. And was surprised,most of the shops were open on Monday. Would highly recommend an extended stay.

Everything about our two night stay was excellent. The only time we called the front desk was to ask how to use the Nespresso machine. The man came up and showed us how to make a cup of coffee and we enjoyed our coffee the following mornings.

The owner's personal and mocking nature of their responses to other reviewers is unprofessional and sad. In one review, they chastise a mother of a disabled child. In another, they insult a grief-stricken person whose family member has been diagnosed with cancer and go about travel insurance. Can you imagine a serious person banning someone from their establishment via online review? These are not serious people, this is what a child play-acting "hotel owner" would do (not that I'd ever go back, trust me). Instead of addressing the underlying problems that contribute to these guest's frustrations (I urge you to see the one-star reviews and replies for yourself), they've chosen to publicly shame people whose discomfort they are responsible for. This only reinforces the impression that the ownership has a long list of issues to sort out, starting with how they communicate and handle feedback. It seems they're more interested in winning an argument than in providing a welcoming and positive experience for their guests. In this case, however, they lost their argument, as I walked away with my money back.

Room was big but price was too much for what it was. Comforter was dirty and the air conditioner was noisy and half worked. Morning staff was rude.

It was a little noisy (street noise) even though I was on the back side of the hotel. Also, no dinner in the hotel the evening I stayed.

Great stay
Great hotel. Warm chocolate chip cookie when you arrive. Safe parking. Clean. Comfortable bed. On sight restaurant and 24/7 gift shop with amenities.

Very clean, bright, and large room. We hosted a mini-reunion of just 6 of us. Front lobby was very comfortable. Looking forward to doing it again. Very walkable area.
