The location is convenient and beautiful, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Casa Hotel the night before our wedding at Rivervale Barn, a deeply meaningful and once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and added a great deal of avoidable stress. Despite booking well in advance and making it clear we were the bridal couple (with multiple rooms booked under our name), the hotel showed very little consideration. My 70-year-old mother was placed directly next to a large, extremely loud party – not just noisy, but with vibrations so strong they shook her room. She and others had to call down to ask for the music to be turned down. Meanwhile, my partner and I were placed directly above the bar, where the party continued until 2am. Although we were eventually offered another room, we were woken again at 4am by drunk guests shouting in the halls. When I went to reception to report this, no one was present. This was a horrible way to spend the night before my wedding, at that point I cried myself to sleep. We understand it was a weekend and the hotel hosts events, but surely greater thought should be given to where bridal parties and elderly guests are placed, especially when this was raised in advance. We’d even been warned some rooms are noisier than others, so it’s disappointing that we were knowingly assigned them. While the front desk staff on the night were friendly, it was too late to make a meaningful difference. We were later offered a £120 refund - the cost of just our room - but this felt more like a correction for the service not received than a true gesture of goodwill. With 5 rooms booked by us and at least 35-40 by our wedding guests, this did not reflect the scale of the impact. As we had recommended this place to our guests it was not only disappointing but embarrassing. Despite following up multiple times, we’ve had no full response or clarity on what happened or what steps are being taken to prevent this for others. Given that it is a recommended hotel to its couples, we feel it’s important to share our experience. We truly hope the hotel takes steps to improve – but sadly, based on our stay, we cannot recommend the Casa Hotel.
