Stayed at this 4 star hotel last week we had a fantastic time. There was five of us split into two rooms, both rooms were lovely with comfortable beds and the most amazing pillows. Good wifi throughout the hotel and the beach. Free safety deposit boxes in the room and there was lots of storage. We also had a full length mirror in our room. Wide range of food available in the main restaurant which was all amazing. Lots of different desserts and there is free freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast which we loved. We went to both a la carte restaurants and got a 4 course meal. The beach was lovely and we did the water sports which were very reasonably priced compared to other holidays we have been on. Pool bar wasn’t far from the beach and the pools were nice. The spa was lovely and the massages were great and a lot cheaper than UK prices (50 min=£25).

Nous avons séjourné au Sentido Marillia Resort & Spa à Hammamet Yasmine et souhaitons partager un retour honnête, en soulignant les points positifs comme ceux qui mériteraient d’être améliorés. L’hôtel est propre, bien entretenu, et les installations sont de qualité, ce qui justifie ses 5 étoiles. La restauration est un vrai point fort : les repas sont variés, savoureux, un vrai régal au quotidien ! Un immense merci à Imene, Mohamed et Rami, qui ont illuminé nos repas, surtout au petit-déjeuner. Toujours souriants, agréables et attentionnés, ils ont su créer une ambiance chaleureuse. Leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme méritent d’être reconnus. Ce sont de vrais rayons de soleil qui ont marqué notre séjour ! Cependant, quelques aspects peuvent être améliorés : • L’animation, bien que sympathique, manque un peu d’originalité. On attendrait plus de dynamisme et de variété dans les activités proposées. • À la piscine, dès 7h du matin, tous les transats sont déjà réservés. C’est une situation frustrante, quel que soit le standing de l’hôtel. • En salle de restauration, malgré la bonne volonté des serveurs, trouver ou garder une place est difficile : une fois levé pour se resservir, la table peut être débarrassée, ou l’assiette retirée avant même d’avoir terminé. Du côté du mini-club, bravo à Abir, Nour et leurs collègues ! Elles sont formidables, bienveillantes, toujours souriantes et très investies auprès des enfants. Malgré un démarrage compliqué à cause de l’absence de climatisation (finalement installée), elles ont su organiser des activités variées et adaptées. 🔒 Petit point de sécurité important : l’accès au mini-club devrait être mieux encadré. Actuellement, il est trop libre. Il serait préférable que les parents déposent leurs enfants et remplissent une fiche d’inscription, avec signature au départ et à la récupération, ou un accès libre mais sous la surveillance des parents pour sécuriser les animateur. Ce serait plus rassurant pour les familles et garantirait une meilleure sécurité des enfants. Concernant les chambres, elles sont propres et fonctionnelles, mais nous avons été très déçus par les fortes remontées d’odeurs désagréables. 🛑 Important à savoir : après réservation, un message de notre tour-opérateur nous a informés que l’hôtel était encore en travaux d’amélioration. Nous ne nous attendions donc pas à ce que tout soit parfait. Mais jamais il n’a été mentionné la présence d’odeurs aussi persistantes dans les chambres. Et contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait penser, ce n’est pas la climatisation qui cause les odeurs : qu’elle soit allumée ou éteinte, l’odeur est toujours là, et franchement désagréable, surtout la nuit. ⸻ En résumé : un bel hôtel où nous avons passé un bon séjour, avec des moments très agréables, 👉 Quelques améliorations permettraient d’élever encore davantage la qualité du séjour, et je pense sincèrement que l’hôtel est en bonne voie pour y parvenir. Having just returned from 7 night stay at this hotel I had to leave a review! Myself and my friend visited and arrived late morning around 11:30am, to be greeted at the door and shown to some comfortable sofas within the main lobby area, greeted with a cold wet cloth, and a welcome drink! What a great first impression! Passports taken from us whilst we sat and waited no need to Que up at reception. This was a little disheartening that there was then no update so after half an hour asked if we need to do anything and was advised the room wasn’t ready and to go for a walk and some lunch. Cut a long story short had to wait just over 3 hours to get the room so didn’t get in until 2:45pm which was a bit of a let down, but they explained that check in isn’t usually until around 2pm. What a shame though as the first impressions with the way we were greeted and welcome drink and things was a nice touch! Everything about the hotel was lovely! Personally I’m a fussy eater and usually on holidays I really really struggle to find food I like but to my surprise not here! Yes things may seem a little repetitive at times but they really really do try and cater for everyone. From the morning fresh cooked to order omelettes to the cooked to order pancakes or crepes, the selection of toppings such as Nutella, honey, syrups fruits down to the pastries everything was lovely! Lunch and evening meals were just as tasty with the chef stations cooking food to order from fish to meats to pastas, fresh made pizzas, even a cheese section to have your own cheese board. They literally work around the clock with food prep and things so it never ends! Just so people know chips/fries don’t exist here - which is actually refreshing as everywhere does then but there they do potato slices (very thin almost cooking them to turn into a crisp) or creamy mashed potato, always vegetables on offer… honey glazed carrots were amazing full of flavour! Even the rotisserie chickens were lovely. Deserts always looked unreal a lot of effort goes into those, and the lemon cheesecake was my favorite or the little profiteroles. The ice cream station had around 6 flavours and they also had lots of options for toppings from sauces to pieces through to a chocolate fountain which they’d drizzle over the top for you! Rooms were sooo comfortable we had room 464 which had a great view over the pool the bed was super comfortable and the pillows… wow if only I could have fit it in my case to bring home it was amazing! Sunloungers… yes they get extremely busy early doors and always appear to be taken, however a small tip maybe 10 Dinar approx (£2.50), to one of the pool attendants they will ALWAYS find you somewhere even if they have to get a couple of loungers off the beach for you! We did this everyday and never struggled even when going down at lunch time when it was busy. We stayed at Marillia at the beginning of July, this is our 4th time back to Tunisia and have enjoyed a different hotel each time, so feel I have a reasonable understanding of expectations in Hammamet. Due to our flight time we didn't get to our hotel until well into the evening and unfortunately the check-in process was more hassle than I've had anywhere else. We arrived into a very grand looking, and spotlessly clean, lobby area but there was no welcome party or drinks on our arrival (something I saw other guests were treated too when they arrived during the day). Unfortunately the lobby area, and other communal areas around the resort severely lacked air conditioning, the lobby area was extremely uncomfortable to sit in due to the heat. After getting to our room, which wasn't quite as it looked on the photos, we unpacked and enjoyed very comfortable beds. What was evident from our time at this resort is the lack of sun loungers, beds were being reserved extremely early in the morning and then on a number of occasions not being used. Life guards would also 'reserve beds' in a way to get a tip by the promise of getting you one, as they'd just then move towels and sun cream from loungers. There were a large number of cabanas around the pool which takes up too much room and you could easily accommodate more sun loungers and parasols as an alternative. The pool was lovely and didn't ever feel too busy. We only visited the main restaurant due to lack of information and then additional cost for alternative options. Unfortunately the food was very repetitive for all 3 meals throughout the day. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant. On the occasion that I reported some issues with my room to reception there as no fix for a broken bathroom tile or bathroom light. Overall the hotel was nice enough but I wouldn't rebook as an option.

I was looking for a summer vacation hotel for couple months during Winter and end up here. It was a perfect choice for three adults and three children (9, 11, 11). Everything just like on pictures! Hotel and room Transfer from Enfidha takes about 30min, from Monastir about 80min. The hotel is sill going through renovation, but it does not disturbed the stay at all. We were on the first floor. Rooms were already renovated, our room for 4 persons very clean and cozy with big balcony having both - shower and tube. The water is indeed leaking a lot, but you can't expect quality similar to European 4*/5* hotels. The lobby is stunning and furniture with taste and style. Great blankets. Big wardrobe for all your clothes. Safe working ok. Fridge big enough for all your bottles. Water always in bottles per request. Complementary drinks included at first day. Upon arrival we were offered welcome drink and fresh wet towel. Cleaning service ladies doing good job, no towel creativity which I appreciate. Quality of towels could be improved, but nothing to complain here. I have seen some complains about insect and bugs, I can't complaint I haven't seen a single cockroach or any similar creature. Food and drinks Amazing is the variety and quality of food. And I am deadly serious here, Even if you are very picky, you will love it. Drinks are also good, considering they use local alcohol as always in such hotels. Coffee could be improved, if you are coffee lover, you might be disappointed. Also nothing unusual. Wine is just awful :-) On the other hand beer served is good. Please - have some manners and dress appropriately for lunch and dinner. Crew running around in white shirts and black pants do not want to watch you eating in swim suit covered with pareo or beach dress. Pool and beach The pool is large and water everyday cleaned. Never crowded, you will always have the chance to take a photo with no people around you. Depth from 1,20m to 1,60m. Warm but still refreshing. Sunbeds always available and not plastic. Big bed sun beds for free around the pool, by the smaller swimming pool large relaxing patios for a fee. The sea is best in the afternoon when the waves are great for fun. Or in the evening for relaxation/meditation. The sea depth is just ok even for children. Be careful about jelly fishes. Few of he big blue ones are there almost every day to be seen. Sea water warm, but not the cleanest. Do not expect the Caribbean blue water. Also please use shower on your way back to the pool from the beach. Wear beach shoes, the sand is hot as hell during the day. Crew Everyone from reception, cleaning service, drink service, pool guards, restaurant and entertainment are doing great job. Be nice to them, they will be nice to you. Greet everyone, tip them and they will spoil you with their attention. If you are not willing to tip, just go somewhere else, it is normal in such countries. Special appreciation goes to Fadi and Saluah from the pool bar service. Ente

Je n’ai tout simplement pas les mots pour décrire à quel point ce séjour a été exceptionnel. L’hôtel Santido Marielia à Hammamet est un véritable havre de paix, alliant élégance, confort et une attention aux détails irréprochable. Dès l’arrivée, on sent que l’accueil est une priorité. Le personnel est chaleureux, professionnel et toujours à l’écoute, avec une bienveillance rare de nos jours. On se sent tout de suite chez soi, mais avec le standing d’un palace. Où es-tu me traduire ça en allemand ?
