Firstly, I'll start with the positives! The staff were very friendly and overall, very helpful. The hotel and surrounding area was kept very clean and tidy too. What let's it down are some basics. Our room had several issues. Whilst the maintenance team arrived to the room within minutes of reporting, there really shouldn't have been so many issues. Firstly, the main light to the room didn't work. The fix was to hit it! This is something we had to do, several times a day. Secondly, the sink was blocked. This was thankfully resolved. Thirdly, the door to the patio didn't lock. This was fixed, but broke again a few days later (so we didn't report it again). Fourthly, our electrics all tripped. It turned out it was due to the air conditioning switch (which popped and sparked). We were told not to use it! Fifth, one of the bedside lights stopped working as the switch didn't work. Lastly, the slot for your key card kept falling off the wall. In terms of catering, we found it very limiting. Whilst you could argue there was a lot of choice, those choices barely changed from meal-to-meal. As it was November, the hotel clearly decided to reduce what they would offer (even though the hotel booking stated they WOULD still be in place. A coffee bar that should have been open from 16:00-24:00 never was. The snack bar was non-existent (except a few pastries after breakfast). The kids club was shut (must to the dismay of other guests with children). The animation team lacked energy and personality. They seemed to stick to talking to a few guests, ignoring everyone else. They're daytime activities were minimal and they're night time entertainment almost invisible. The drinks served at the bar seemed extremely limited too. Except for the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds and friendliness of the staff, I did not enjoy my stay. Granted this is personal, as others we chatted to really enjoyed it. It definitely won't be somewhere I'd recommend, or likely to return to. I've had 10+ All Inclusive holidays and unfortunately this ranks in the bottom 20% There's far better hotels in the area, having spoken with other holiday makers on the excursions we attendes
