From our arrival on our anniversary until our departure a few days later, Yasawa delivered on everything..... Beauty, food, lodging, snorkeling, island excurisions, and freindly staff. Great Bure (8). Chef prepared an anniversary seafood platter that we will remember forever.

I would strongly recommend staying here. My wife and stayed for 7 nights and loved every part of it. Location is perfect, it is beautiful wherever you go. Food was really really good. Staff is really amazing and everyone treats you so well. I would recommend that if you are coming from the US I would stay for a week as it is kinda a long trip. But well worth it.

Every year, we travel to three or four resorts around the world, mainly the Maldives, but also Cancun, Mauritius, etc. This time, what we want to do is read a book on a quiet beach and eat delicious food. I understand that every resort has different staff attitudes. However, I felt like everyone here was trying too hard to be overly friendly. Since you pay your bills, it's better if they just fulfill their obligations. I never had a chance to speak with the woman who seemed to be the owner. It's a shame. The location is great, but I thought it might be a management issue. There are many activities, but they are not explained in detail, which is tiring (for example, a strenuous hour-long mountain climb called a walk). Dinner was also tough, as the main course was served immediately after a full day and a half of flying. There are many areas that need improvement, but I hope they continue to make progress by taking advantage of the beautiful nature and environment. If you are young, it would be a good idea to bring something for the local children and women.

Peace & serenity from your busy life style Great for couples or solo. Swim in aqua blue sea, or lay down for sun tan. Fishing trips are great. Snorkeling or reef diving is a must. Aahh, don't forget to get spoilt with Spa treatment. Village trips are a must. Seeing a simple Fijian lifestyle, one to one with villagers, is a must. Cave trips. Food & Wine is well taken care of. onsight ice-cream by chef...loving it Don't bring work, just ourselves

We booked these rooms on the ******* website. We arrived at the resort in the late afternoon of April 26, 2025 on the last flight into Yasawa. We checked into our rooms and noticed many inconsistencies with the luxury that was communicated on the Yasawa Island Resort and ******* websites. The room was hot. There was a tiny wall AC unit above the bed which was not adequate to cool the whole room. We found bugs and spiders of many types throughout the room. We also found lizards and geckos on the ceilings and corners. The room was not even close to luxury and was not clean. We immediately complained with hotel staff with no real attention given to our complaint. As it was late and we could not leave the island until the next morning, we suffered through the night at the resort. The next morning we once again voiced our concerns with no resolution. We checked out at the front desk and took the next available flight from Yasawa to Fiji. This resort is not the luxury presented on Yasawa Island Resort or Expedia's website. Do your self a favor and stay on the main island at a reputable resort.

I can not express how wonderful Yasawa Island Resort and spa was!!! The accommodations, the food, the activities, and the people were all amazing! My husband and I were there for our honeymoon and for my birthday and the resort made a big deal of both! I can't wait to go back!!! After landing in Nadi we got on an island hopper plane which was, to our surprise, an 8 seater plane. A little unnerving at first but then when you see the magnificent views as you fly, you forget all about how small the plane is. We then landed in a field! no joke, a field which was so cool! the staff greeted us with open arms and we were at the resort in minutes. The resort is super beautiful, quiet and clean! Our room was very big. Again super clean and the beds were so comfortable. I have read other reviews complaining about bugs but to be honest we didn't see any. Maybe it was because of the time of year we traveled (their winter.) The outdoor shower was a nice touch and the back deck was big. The additional thatched hut with chairs and hammock was a welcomed quiet place to relax. The resort is all inclusive (minus alcohol) including food (which was amazing) activities and a special seafood dinner which was so good! All fresh lobsters, crabs, shrimp and local fish. There was so much food we couldn't even finish! But my favorite part were the beach picnics. When you schedule a beach picnic you get to choose from a menu of different foods. We had sandwiches on or first picnic and a Cesar salad with prawns and lobster the second , which were absolutely delicious! They put you on a boat and take you to a deserted beautiful beach which is set up with a hut for shade and a comfy mattress pad to relax on. It was such a magical time to be alone with my husband in this breathtaking beach for 2+ hours. We have been to many beautiful beaches all over the world but never one that we had all to ourselves! It will be a memory that I never will forget. Lastly I can not thank the staff enough for being so nice and accommodating! They made us feel so at home. From management to the wait staff to the activities people, each and everyone of you had such a big part in making our trip so special! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone going to Fiji!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Yasawa during our honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful. Incredible staff. We stayed for 7 nights but would have stayed another week. Every night at happy hour they give you the planned activities for the next day, but you are not obligated to participate (although, we would recommend them). From snorkeling to exploring the caves to visiting the village, they truly make every moment paradise. The staff is beyond comparable. Smiga will put a smile on anyone's face and Sammi's Mojito's are out of this world good. The food is some of the best food we've had in the world. We highly recommend the private beach picnic. It's an absolute MUST. 10/10!

I rate this a five star couple retreat experience from beginning to end. The 8 seater Island Hoppers flight in from Nadi is an experience in itself with incredible views of the beautiful Yasawas and surrounding reefs whetting the appetite for arrival. The airstrip transfer and check in process was smooth and professional by resort AM Jope, Sikeli and their team. The welcome we and fellow arrivals received from Kaydee the resort GM was heartfelt, informative and refreshing, complete with a lovely welcome song from staff. The arrival in our room was spectacular, we had the double bure on the hill at the southern end of the resort, a luxurious 2br 2 bth villa with a large balcony, and were greeted with sweeping views of the coastline and cliffs, jungle, beach, ocean and reefs. My wife was impressed with the champagne I had pre-organised for our arrival. Complete with the stocked mini bar and Fijian sunshine this made for a relaxing afternoon at the bure, reading and sunbathing on the day bed and cooling off in the private outdoor shower (there were 2 of these at our bure). 6:30 was nightly cocktail hour, and as we arrived on a Sunday, there was a magnificent staff gospel singing choir on the beach. It was obvious from the speech by resort owner Erin, that the local culture is respected with Sunday being a quiet day at the resort with minimal staffing so local villager staff who make up the majority of staff can participate in village religious and cultural festivities. Sai and Sami had the cocktails down pat, by the end of the stay we had tried all the local specials!! Meals were always a highlight, with plenty of variety on offer and often featuring local cuisine. The local fresh caught seafood platter was spectacular. The service from all waitstaff including Kara, Jerry and led by Manasa and Wati was outstanding, friendly and attentive. Despite all this, the highlights for me were the day activities, private picnics at amazing private white sandy beach and snorkelling spots, and a private diving trip to a couple of the most outstanding coral reef dive spots I have seen, healthy and vibrant with beautiful coral and fish specimens. These were ably organised by activities and dive master Pedro, and we felt safe and looked after by all activities staff including captains Bale, Vuni, Apo and Smiga. Our 4 night stay was great but would have loved to have stayed longer, there was heaps more to do we didn’t get to. Thanks again for a great time, we will be back again!
