Guests appreciate the varied breakfast and friendly, professional staff. They also enjoy the well-equipped conference facilities, good bar, and modern shower. However, no disadvantages were mentioned in the reviews.

Me and my partner stayed at Yarnfield for a conference. We initially booked both the Friday and Saturday night. On arrival there was a power cut which delayed check in slightly but did get sorted. Dinner was delayed a little because of this but that didn’t bother us. We got into our room which was tiny. The bathroom was very compacted with no space to move around. The bed was slightly bigger than a single bed and was no adequate for 2 people sharing. The bed was also hard. We did not sleep at all on the first night. Next issue was the food. We arrived at dinner 5 minutes after opening. There wasn’t a cold buffet option as advertised. The hot food was barely warm, tasteless and was not good quality at all. The bar was left unattended which meant you had to press the call button and wait to be served. Prices however were reasonable. Breakfast was the next issue we faced. Breakfast is served 7-8:30 however the weekend we stayed there were a few conferences on with several hundred people attending. The line for breakfast did not move for 20 minutes which meant we were unable to get our breakfast before our conference started at 9am. The conference itself we couldn’t fault however there were so many technical issues due to inadequate WiFi it was a let down. We decided to leave a day early due to how bad the accommodation and food is. I would not return. Very dissatisfied. Given how expensive this is to stay over we expected a lot more. A nearby premier inn is cheaper, a lot more comfortable and better food.

Great place The staff were very helpful . Everything was as described in the booking . Ony this it can be hard to find
