The original intention of booking this hotel was that it was relatively close to Sanxian Mountain and Baxiandu Scenic Area, making it easy to rest after tired activities. I read mixed reviews from guests who stayed there, so I only booked one night. As soon as I entered the lobby that day, I was warmly received by the young lady at the front desk. Her smile was so warm and she was very skilled in her business, making the guests feel what it means to feel at home. (From what others said, the young lady seemed to have a surname of Zou.) The facilities of the hotel It does have a sense of age, but the clean and tidy guest room environment, the unique location and the affordable price made me feel impeccable. I decisively checked out the two hotels in the next two days and chose to continue staying here. The hotel's breakfast is ordinary, but there is no problem in filling up. The hotel is just a few hundred meters away from the beach. After dinner, I went to the beach to enjoy the sunset and watch the people rushing to the sea. I couldn't help but sigh that Penglai is really ”a place where gods live.”

The hotel has a good environment and a superior geographical location. It takes about five minutes to walk to the Baxian Cross-Sea Scenic Area. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and they enthusiastically recommended famous local restaurants to me. The room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. It was a very satisfying stay!

The proprietress upgraded me to a deluxe room, and it was obvious that she was taking the business very seriously. Massage chairs, hammocks, small slides, and small swings ensure that people of all ages can find entertainment that suits them. The cleanliness of the room, the location and the service are all excellent. When they learned that we were leaving early and would not be able to have breakfast, they specially sent us some bread and snacks. It felt great and was the best hotel experience I have ever had.

Service was fantastic! The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to change rooms because we wanted wooden flooring instead of tiles. They also helped us with our heavy luggage up to the second floor and gave us a small gift when we left. The room was very comfortable especially the bed and pillows but the towels and the toilet were quite old making it feel like they were dirty. We also found tissue underneath our bed but otherwise the room was fine. The location is amazing! It’s right across from the scenic area. So convenient! Thanks for a great stay!

The Overseas Chinese Hotel is unexpectedly good. The room is spacious and clean. The front desk staff is nice, patient and considerate. When we left the hotel, they saw us holding mineral water and chased us out to give us two bags. It was very comfortable. The hotel is in a good location, about two or three kilometers away from the Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area. Parking is very convenient. I asked the front desk staff which restaurant nearby is more authentic. They recommended the Laosi Gourmet Restaurant, which is often eaten by locals. The hotel is a five-minute walk away. It is really delicious and reliable!

We had a relaxing stay at the Knights Ocean Hotel in Penglai. The location of the hotel is ideal for beach access as well as Europark. The staff are so friendly and they even upgraded our room at no extra charge. The person at the front desk, Linda, spoke English so well and she was able to answer all our questions with such patience and clarity. The facilities at the hotel include amazing breakfast, a child-friendly environment with entertainment for children, a pool, gym, and a hot springs spa. We left rejuvenated and relaxed. All the major tourist attractions are not far and taxis are easily accessible. The hotel also has someone at the reception area who will help you book tours. You can even hire public motorized bikes using WeChat, literally outside the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Penglai.
