We arrived at Yantai Station during our trip to Shandong and booked the Blue Sky Hotel in advance, which is a military-friendly hotel under Ronglv. It was already past 9pm when we arrived at the hotel. The location is very good, right at Fisherman's Wharf, and the exterior is a European-style building. Xiao Zhou at the front desk was thoughtful and enthusiastic, and always served with a smile, which was very considerate. I give Xiao Zhou a thumbs up 👍. You can directly see the seaside from the hotel, and the room is also spacious and bright. You can also go downstairs early to watch the sunrise at the location of Spirited Away. Great location for beautiful ocean views and ocean side walks. We can see the ocean from our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety for only $5. Parking is free and easy. Staff are super friendly. hotel provides free clothes washing soap and offer free clothes dryer services which is a greatly helpful when most hotels do laundry services for a super high fee. Only downside was that the ac was not cold enough and it was centrally controlled therefore we could only adjust the fan power but not the room temperature. But overall a very good value for what we get.

Food: There is a beautiful seaside coffee shop ”Huli Coffee” about ten minutes' drive from the hotel. Because of this coffee shop, I will come to Yantai again. 7. I accidentally got the second ticket for the May 1 concert. I thought it would be difficult to return after the concert. I accidentally found a concert shuttle bus and booked the Oriental Haitian, which became the wisest choice for my May 1st booking. The hotel decoration is old-fashioned, with a 1990s business style. I didn't have much hope. On the day of the concert, I found that the hotel organizer was very reliable. I booked two buses and sent them directly to the concert entrance. After the concert, I was picked up near the exit. When most people were wandering on the street, we were already lying on the hotel bed. Thank you Oriental Haitian for making my May 1st trip smooth and comfortable. I wish the hotel will do better and better.

The room facilities are quite complete and very clean. The lady at the front desk is very friendly. The location is good and the price is very suitable. When you leave the hotel, you can see the Moon Bay and the East Fort Scenic Area on one side, and the trestle on the other side. I saw a lot of people while walking. I was catching the sea with a bucket. It felt like it would be nice to bring the kids as the weather got warmer.
