Yantai Fushan District Hotels

I stayed here on both my departure and arrival flights to Yantai. The hotel is just amazing and you can get a room on the highest floor with a great view to the city. It’s also very close to so many attractions here such as the golden beach and Tian square. I just went for a stroll and walked everywhere on foot. The gym has also a gym and nice coffee shop and bar. U can also have a nice breakfast in the morning. All in all, my experience here was great and I definitely recommend it for any future guests. Oh and there’s also a flower shop u can visit. They also helped me with drying my clothes which I left here for 6 days and picked them up on my way back. They were folded nicely. The service is absolutely fantastic.

Our stay at Mercure in Yantai was amazing! 🤩 The staff was so polite and attentive to our needs. On our first night we couldn’t get much sleep because of the construction noise, so the staff moved us to another room that not only was so quiet, but it also had an incredible view! The breakfast has a lot of food options, both Western and Chinese, and we probably gained a few pounds. 😅 It’s not very far from the beach, around a 20-minute walk, which was very pleasant during the fall. We got to see some of the attractions by the beach, like the lonely whale. I definitely recommend this hotel if you’re thinking about going to Yantai for a few days to rest and explore the city.

Close to Golden Beach, about 10 minutes walk. The room is very clean and the service is very good. They basically responded to all our requests. I met some of the best front desk staff. They were also serious and friendly to children and gave small gifts. There are a lot of food around, and it is very convenient in all aspects. The breakfast is also great. I encountered prawns and clams, comparable to high-star hotels. The tofu pudding for breakfast is really delicious. I highly recommend it.

Nice hotel not that luxury unfortunately it's not that friendly to foreigners almost like any hotel in China. But they had the presidential suites and it was very affordable and pretty nice.

The hotel is surrounded by a nice environment, with supermarkets and pharmacies. The big bed in the room is very comfortable. Special thanks to Xiaofang at the front desk for her patient answers. The stay experience is particularly good.

Let's talk about the advantages first. ⛳️The hotel is in an excellent location, opposite the beach, and very close to the Lianyantai Auditorium. It is very convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset ~ The overall decoration design of the hotel is also beautiful. 🍽 Although there are not many breakfast varieties, the taste is good. I have to eat a bowl of Penglai noodles and beef brisket noodles every day. You can also pack a drink to take away. 🛀🏻 I like the scent of toiletries ~ It's a bit like the smell of Bulgari green tea perfume. Disadvantages: The shower room in the room we stayed in was leaking. The only solution was to give us a few more floor mats for ourselves. The first night the water seepage was serious. In the next few nights, we could only shrink in the corner of the shower room, which was not spacious to take a shower. It was still leaking. One went in to take a shower, and the other was guarding the floor mat at the door to prevent leakage... Indigo is also a five-star hotel under InterContinental. This is really unacceptable 😓 The air conditioner in the room does not cool. The temperature was actually quite high over 30 degrees during the few days we went there. There was no solution. It was assumed that it must be very hot outside to cool down, and it would be very stuffy to sleep at night. (The room card with the whale 🐳 printed on it is very beautiful~)

During your stay, the smiling faces of the service staff will instantly relax your body's fatigue. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location, close to the airport and next to a large shopping mall, making it very convenient for travel and shopping. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, induction cooker, and seafood from the beach is also readily available. In short, Citadines is a good choice for travel.

The hotel is located in the Fushan Development Zone. It cost around 40 RMB to get here from Yantai Station by Didi Express. As the peak season was drawing to a close, room rates had become more reasonable. We booked a 500-yuan garden-view twin room with a balcony, which didn't include breakfast, but Trip.com provided one complimentary breakfast. The view was quite pleasant, with acres of pine forest stretching out in front, unobstructed by tall buildings. It was very enjoyable to have a drink and watch the night view together in the evening. The room layout was standard. It featured an open-concept vanity area with a sliding door that could be closed off, but there was no partition between the toilet and the bathtub. I noticed some previous guests were bothered by this, but I personally found it acceptable. The welcome amenity consisted of two apple juices and a small bag of apple cookies. They tasted decent, but for some reason, the cookies were a bit squashed. Behind the hotel was the beach and the sea. If you had a sea-view room, you'd face it directly. There was a door in the lobby bar that led straight to the beach, where free foot-washing stations were available. The sand on the beach was quite coarse, not ideal for bare feet. Also, it was cloudy on the day we checked in, and the seawater was murky with some seaweed. However, it's a great spot to bring kids to catch small crabs, as the beach was absolutely riddled with crab holes. A stroll after breakfast or dinner was also a nice option. Various paid shared electric vehicles (two, three, and four-wheeled) were available for rent, depending on your preference. During this stay, there were two minor issues: (1) The shower had excellent water pressure, but the bathtub water wasn't hot enough, and filling the tub took a very long time. (2) There was a non-functional connecting door between our room and the adjacent one. Although it didn't affect our stay, it felt a bit awkward. Other than that, everything else was fine. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance!

The hotel is the best I’ve ever stayed in Yantai. So I highly recommend it. The whole experience was special, and the best part is the people, their willingness to help and guide to have even a better time, I love to thank Eva for her special welcoming, and shall also mention Mingo, Yuki, Beryl who make the Westin trip unforgettable.

I have stayed in this hotel chain many times in China and always had a good experience. However, this hotel in Yantai gave me a very bad feeling. The hotel's restaurant and cleaning staff were very good, but the people at the front desk seemed to have tinted eyes. I stayed in the hotel with my wife, and they were quite enthusiastic towards me, but obviously did not respect my wife.
