[Hotel service] Very meticulous and thoughtful. I rushed from Beijing to Yantai for a staycation after get off work on Friday night. It was already 11:30 pm when I arrived at the hotel. The warm yellow lighting in the lobby, the design of the revolving door and the wavy screen at the entrance made me feel at ease when I returned home. I didn't expect that I would have the opportunity to upgrade my room type so late, and I got my wish to experience a bathtub bath. Thank you Wilson, the hotel butler, for taking good care of my room needs and following up on whether I was satisfied with my stay experience after checking in. During my stay, I called many times to ask for room service needs, such as drinking water, bathtub sets, bath salts, tea bags, edible ice cubes, etc., and the customer service department responded to the needs in a timely manner. The cleaning aunts were also very polite when they came in and out. [Room Function Design] The deluxe king-size bed room I stayed in this time has an area that is higher than the boutique king-size bed room. Often the room area is closely related to whether a bathtub is installed. The bed faces the sea directly. If the weather is good, you can get up early to greet the day by being kissed by the morning sun. A small tip is that if you want to sleep peacefully and not be disturbed by the sun, remember to put down the shower curtain before going to bed, otherwise the sun will shine from the side of the bathroom and affect your sleep. Although the room does not have a special bay window design, the width of the window edge is actually wide enough for guests to sit and watch the sea. If the sea view in front of the bed is not beautiful enough, it is better to meditate in the bathtub. I made myself a glass of wine, paired with the unique flavor of Yantai Indigo Vanilla Apple Swiss Roll, I don’t know how comfortable it is! The living room, bathroom, washroom, cloakroom, etc. of this room type have a good open design, which increases the transparency of the space. Compared with the last time I stayed at InterContinental, the only difference is that there is no two-meter bed (only 1.8m), and there is no pillow menu. The rest of the sleeping experience is great. Last week, due to the high pressure of work, I slept on the hotel bed for two nights for 8+ hours. If it weren't for the hotel breakfast, I would be fine! A better experience than the last time I stayed at InterContinental is that the guest room TV of this Indigo can be projected, which is not possible in many brand hotels, which is a plus. In addition, the color scheme of Indigo - sunset orange, ocean blue, deep blue, supplemented by transitional beige and gray, once again echoes the theme of ocean vacation, while creating a high-end and fashionable feeling. It is widely used in the tabletops and chopsticks of the restaurant, as well as tissue boxes and tea sets in the room, which strengthens the impression of the brand on the guests. For example, the bottled drinking water provided by the hotel, after reading the introduction behind the small label, I know that this is the local Cishan Spring in Yantai. It tastes more refreshing than Yibao and Nongfu Spring on the market, which also shows that Indigo pays attention to the use of local resources. The canvas bag given upon check-in is full of Yantai local dialect expressions and pinyin, which is interesting and exciting. I must carry it often when I bring it back to Beijing. The Indigo label behind it is also very beautiful! [Dining Experience] Last but not least. The taste and quality of the food provided by Indigo Yantai Golden Beach are really the best in the hotels I have experienced. The breakfast buffet included in the package, whether Chinese, Western, or Asian, is fresh and complete, which makes people's appetite whetted. After two days, my favorite is blueberry yogurt with various cereals, as well as Yantai's local Penglai noodles and hot bread. Even the white porridge × eight treasures, shredded mustard tuber, fermented bean curd, and kimchi are made with a higher texture and exquisiteness than the roadside shops, worthy of being Indigo! You need to buy the dinner buffet yourself. The current price for guests is less than 200 per person. It is only available on Friday and Saturday nights. You can taste Yantai's local steamed seafood, high-quality Brazilian barbecue and various fish sashimi are unlimited. It's a pity that I only have one mouth and one stomach. I was full after eating these highlights, but no matter what, this price and quality are definitely better than the buffets in most cities in China. The Swiss roll afternoon tea at Hotel Indigo is also very famous. I was not impressed by the Swiss rolls I had eaten so many online famous ones in Beijing, but after trying it once, I sincerely recommend the unique vanilla apple flavor of Yantai. The cream is rich in Yantai apple fillings, and the taste is sweet and fresh. It is definitely worth a try. Before leaving, I ordered two more cups as souvenirs to bring back for my colleagues to taste. Overall, although the staycation in Yantai did not catch up with good weather, I still felt that the trip was worthwhile. Hotel Indigo gave me a great sense of satisfaction in the service experience, which motivated me to take so many beautiful pictures and write such a long recommendation review. I hope that Yantai Golden Beach Hotel Indigo will get better and better, and staying at Hotel Indigo must be the reason for me to come to Yantai for vacation again.

The most satisfying thing about this trip to Yantai is the hotel! Bonnie contacted me one day in advance and said that she had upgraded to a high-floor suite with a bathtub. Bonnie said that she could make birthday decorations without telling the child at home. She gave her a big surprise and a birthday cake, which was a full sense of ceremony! The hotel is in a good location on Jinshatan. The ladder to the sea and Lian Yantai are very close, and it takes a few minutes to walk there. The breakfast is rich. You can scan the code on the table to order noodles and wontons. The small amount is suitable for tasting the taste and will not be wasted. The style of the whole hotel is very seaside, which fits the fusion resort style of the INDIGO brand.
