On a family trip, we blindly booked this hotel online. Its location right at the entrance to the scenic area is convenient, but in the mornings, we were woken up by shouting and noise from outside, which isn't ideal for those who like to sleep in. Thankfully, it was absolutely quiet at night. At over 1000 RMB a night, the hotel's ground floor lobby was quite disappointing, making us feel it wasn't good value for money. However, our family room on the second floor was a pleasant surprise; it was surprisingly spacious and well-designed, with great attention to detail and excellent cleanliness. While the hotel's breakfast rice noodles were delicious, the main meals were incredibly disappointing. We paid main course prices for fast-food sized portions. When the dishes arrived, with their tiny, miniature servings and unappetizing appearance, I half-jokingly thought I'd walked into a 'refined Suzhou/Hangzhou restaurant.' These portions are clearly designed for light eaters, not for hungry travelers who've just completed a long journey. 100 RMB per person wasn't nearly enough to satisfy us. This hotel truly specializes in ripping off its guests – it's absolutely outrageous, even if the taste was passable. What's more, you have to walk quite a distance outside the hotel to find somewhere for a proper meal.
