The room smelled like a public toilet. The balcony door would have gotten rid of some of the smell, but the noise from the commercial street outside was loud so I closed it, and the smell came back. Later I found that the whole room smelled like cigarettes and feces. The toilet was yellowed by smoke. The walls were sticky.
