This time, the bathtub was dirty and leaking, but the recovery afterwards was excellent. In particular, Ms. Ella at the reception was wonderful in her response and it was very relaxing. The food was delicious, and they even brought us coffee, tea, etc. which was great. It is a 5-star hotel after all, and I will definitely visit again.

The most spectacular Hotel in Yangon, Downtown. Fantastic rooms, amazing teams taking care of us. A real luxury experience. Especially want to mention some of their talented Staffs , Ms. Su , James and Ko Phyoe from Sarkies Bar are performing just perfectly well.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Strand Hotel Yangon. From the moment I arrived, the staff gave a warm and friendly welcome that made me feel right at home. The room was clean and well-prepared, with a perfect blend of classic charm and modern comfort. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the service throughout my stay was truly excellent. One of my favorite highlights was the swimming pool – the water was warm and relaxing, even during the rain. It made my experience even more special and refreshing. This colonial building is a true legend in the city, proudly standing since 1901. You can feel the history in every detail while still enjoying the luxury of a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yangon – a perfect mix of heritage, hospitality, and comfort.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the beds were incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful, special thanks to receptionist Thae Thae, butler Yadanar and Eaint. We also absolutely loved their lava cake and breakfast bread. The rooms were also ginormous, I would even say it’s the best hotel in Yangon.

I had a fantastic stay at the historic Strand Hotel Yangon. The hotel’s colonial architecture and elegant decor made me feel perfect also the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, clean including the comfortable bed. One of my favorite parts was the breakfast buffet offered a great mix of local and international dishes. And swimming in the rain was so complete and relaxed for me. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for anyone wanting to experience Yangon’s charm and history in style.

Our stay at The Strand Hotel was truly a wonderful and unforgettable experience. We stayed in the Executive Suite on the night of July 5, 2025, and everything exceeded our expectations. The room was elegant, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always greeting us with warm smiles. I would like to especially mention Tun Nay Chi; the receptionist whose excellent service made our stay even more memorable. My friends and I truly enjoyed every moment of our time at the hotel. Thank you, The Strand Hotel, for creating such special memories for us. We look forward to coming back again soon!

My stay at the Grand Strand Yangon was amazing! My stay at the Strand Yangon was a wonderful experience. From arrival to departure, the front desk staff was warm, welcoming, professional and helpful. The butler service was especially excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and a spacious suite with a good old vintage feel. All the meals were delicious and authentic! I would definitely stay again.
