Everything went great) dinner and breakfast were delicious and filling. Extra charge for dinner is 2200 per person. Tatami are comfortable and soft blankets are warm. Breakfast was included in the price. It's a 20-30 minute walk to the snow monkey park.

I really liked this hotel, the hosts are hospitable. The hotel has an onsen. We took it with dinner and breakfast, everything was very tasty. There is a bus stop near the hotel.

Very cozy accommodation. A little further away from the shibu onsen and does not provide keys to all the bathhouses. But closer to snow monkey park and has a super cozy onsen in the accommodation. Very nice couple who take care of everything and good Japanese breakfast.

Hosts are very warm, friendly and helpful. They even provide a shuttle service from and to the railway station beyond a fixed schedule. Outdoor onsen is lovely. The shared bathrooms are well maintained but pity the basin has no hot water for handwashing. Meals can be provided on request.

The destination of my trip is Wild Ape Park. The map of this homestay is top-notch. The owner drove up the mountain to the entrance, and walked down the mountain for 15 minutes on the return trip.
Traditional Japanese-style homestay, with open-air hot springs (an additional charge of Y300 per person).
A little worse is that there is no supporting facilities nearby, and dinner can be eaten at 7 o'clock at the latest, otherwise there is no place to eat, and there is no convenience store to buy, only soda machines.
After the meal, I take a bath and then sleep.

Simple and autentic
Very nice small authentic ryokan with an outdoor public onsen. It's located 15 min walk from Shibu Onsen town, but close to the entrance to Monkey Park. There's a busstop right in front of the ryokan. The bus goes to the station and monkey park entrance and ski area. Very kind and serviceminded couple, who speak enough English to explain how it works. Good Japanese breakfast and dinner. Only coffee is in the vending machine outside. Only futons in the room. No chairs. No private bath or toilet in the rooms. The onsen is nice but simple. Credit cards are accepted. Good info about bus and train ate given.

The property is a bit old, but kept clean and guests are very well looked after, hosts are great. Perfect location for snow monkeys.
