很古樸的日式温泉旅館，老闆一位英文很好的長者家。地理位置非常好，離車站近，過個橋就到。就是公共洗浴洗手枱地面等不太乾淨，長者家一個人打理可以理解。

Authentic host, cozy stay at a great value
Wonderful hospitality, with a historic, step back in time feel. The most kind host who runs the ryokan as the 3rd descendant of the family - it was begun by his grandfather. The property is dated with rough edges but it is a great option at a good price.
The town is a sleepy but the few small restaurants we found were so good and cozy. The public hot baths by the train station were very nice and the neighboring town has a public onsen that can be accessed for a fee (it is one of the 9 the ryokans in that area have as part of their network).

The host was extremely attentive and a pleasure to talk to. Hardworking and kind Japanese man. Onsen and shower facilities were perfect. Breakfast was fine.

Authentic Japanese Experience
The Owner was so accommodating he even offered for a free ride to the monkey park but we decided to be driven back to our hotel in Yamanouchi. Our one night experience for a Japanese culture was genuine and fantastic. The Japanese dinner and breakfast was so good.

Autentisk Ryokan med egetvarn kildevann-bad.
Svært autentisk Ryokan, med fabelaktig vert.
Litt "slitne" fasiliteter , men dette bidro til intrykket av autentisitet. Hadde eget lite "Onsen"-bad med naturlig varmt kildevann.
God mat, god service.
Verten tok oss med på et fascinerende besøk på banen for klassisk japansk busekyting (som ligger vegg i vegg med Ryokan'en.

Uotoshi Ryokan was amazing! The host was super nice, the meals were fantastic, the room was great. The area is perfect, it's a great place to get away from the city for a bit. It's a bit in the past, but in a really nice way!
Our room didn't have a washroom in the room, we didn't mind.
