On such a hot day, there is no air-conditioning on the 4th floor. I vaguely feel that there is discrimination in the room booked through Ctrip. The next day we negotiated to change to the 6th floor.

Le service est exceptionnel, comme souvent au Japon. Les équipes m’ont bien aidé à faire mon premier Takuhaibin, nous ont bien guidé pour profiter des bains locaux et même offert une navette une deuxième fois après celle des singes pour aller prendre notre bus. Il fait également signaler une personne à l’accueil qui parle un français absolument parfait. Le dîner n’était pas le meilleur de notre séjour au Japon, le Onsen non plus- mais les deux étaient tout à fait corrects et portés par un personnel très bienveillants et dotés d’humour ! cela étant le Onsen sur le toit a l’air absolument remarquable. La chambre était grande, très fonctionnelle, et avait une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Cet hôtel n’était pas notre premier choix mais nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ici. En note négative je mettrais uniquement la partie fumeurs qui n’a plus lieu d’être aujourd’hui et empeste vraiment : fermez-là vous y gagnerez beaucoup !

A parte la solita, apprezzatissima, ospitalità in stile giapponese (sempre gentili e disponibili), ho mangiato proprio del buon cibo. L’unico piccolo difetto è la chiusura del bar e della terrazza alle 21:30/22. Comunque complimenti agli chef e al titolare.

We stayed 2 nights at this delightful ryokan. We chose a western style room with a private onsen. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and more than we had imagined. Our room was quite large, and had an outdoor onsen with a spectacular view of the mountains. The meals were fresh and delicious, especially the amazing fish. The owner, Yuki, is so gracious and very accommodating to any need you might have, from a ride to the train, to whisking you off to the snow monkey park (we saw over 100 monkeys), or taking you to a massage appointment. Yuki takes immense pride in her hotel and it truly shows!

Very nice ryokan, traditional rooms and food:) Highly recommended. A wonderful view and a great Ōnsen to relax in. Plus a delicious "Snow Monkey" sake. There are also beautiful yukata that round off the whole atmosphere. We'd be happy to go back:)

Ryokan Biyunoyado I enjoyed staying this traditional ryokan with onsen very much. Gorgeous place! Our lovely double tatami room had the essence of the Japan design: fresh smell of straw from the tatami mat as you step into the room, low table, clean lines. In addition to the main bedroom there were small but separate toilet, tub and sitting rooms, and we enjoyed stepping out to our balcony, over-looking over the town below. The onsen experience was very special. We wore the yukata and shoes left for us in our room and went there and back to the gender segregated pools (2 in, 1 out), very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the black rock against my back. The combination of hot water soak followed by huge dinner after full day results in good sleep.
