The hotel didn’t provide a restful stay despite the expensive price. First, a lady who couldn’t speak a lot of English or Japanese showed us to our room and didn’t provide a proper explanation for anything. They seemed to have a public bath but upon closer inspection of the building, there was nothing. Furthermore, it felt like we were staying at a family’s private house as there were just stuff lying around (we found a random toothbrush and toothpaste in the 1st floor toilet). Location wise, it’s not too bad as there’s a public bus that goes really close to the hotel but it’s a bit far from everything else so we would recommend getting anything you need before coming.

Our hotel is conveniently located in Yamanaka Lake, Hirano Station, from which you can reach Tokyo or Kawaguchiko. Just 300 meters from the famous attraction of Lake Yamanaka, Hirano Hama, where you can play with swans, is a photographer's paradise, where you can take pictures of the reverse Fuji and other beautiful scenery, of course, it is also a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
