Hotels near Yamanakako Onsen Benifuji no Yu hot spring, Yamanakako

The accommodation was quite surprising. This trip was not mainly for the purpose of staying here, but somehow it turned out to be the best experience of the trip. Facilities: The toilet is automatic, has flushing function, and has proximity sensing. The temperature of the toilet ring is also suitable, giving people a warm feeling in the winter. The key is that there are hot springs to soak in, and they are open all day, which is highly praised. Hygiene: The hotel is very clean, basically spotless, which is also related to the fact that it is a new hotel. I was worried about the odor, but I was overthinking. Environment: It's amazing. The windows are panoramic windows. When you open them, you can see Mount Fuji and the garden downstairs. What a spectacle. It's amazing to watch the sunset while staying in a hotel. The lobby downstairs and the restaurant (breakfast is not currently available, but I heard they are considering it) are very nicely decorated. Service: This is what surprised me the most. The boss is Chinese, the communication is ok, and the boss is very hospitable. During the night I stayed there, I got to know the guests in other rooms. We chatted with the boss together. Each family prepared some food. I felt the comfort and warmth of chatting with a family in Japan. The boss sang very well, and there was a Chinese song requesting machine. To be honest, I would definitely recommend such a B&B to my friends. Also, I took a picture of the inverted Fuji~ It’s not far from the hotel. It’s really a treasure hotel, close to the bus stop and the shooting spot.

Booked 3 stays in my current Japan trip and this was my second accommodation. Location: Sun Plaza Hotel Fuji Yamanakako, 1445-1 Yamanaka, Yamanakako, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0501 Location: 20-30 minutes bus ride from Mt. Fuji station. This small town was located beside one of the 5 lakes around Mt. Fuji. This area was more popular with local tourist and tour groups from China. We notice people only frequent here in the morning and by evening the whole places becomes a ghost town. Also to add the fact that we were here during the Japan Golden week, many of the food stores were closed so we had to settle for convinient store food. There is a bicycle store outside the hotel that you can rent for ¥700/hr, or down the road at ¥2000/half day. Cycle to the Flower garden just 10minutes away to enjoy a beautiful view of flower field and mt. fuji in the background. Price and amenities The room was equipped with basic goodies - toiletries, bidet and drinking water, Yukata, slippers and comb. The room was huge but very weird design and used of space. Other that the toolet bowl, the rest of the room was outdated and old. The bed was decently soft and pillow was solid hard. The TV turns on automatically at 6am everyday so we didn't get a goodnight sleep throughout the stay. The saving grace was the public bath! For the female onsen, we had collagen skin peel and pearl moisturiser that left my skin super soft! I was breaking out but after my visit to the onsen, my skin feels great! Check in and check out was easy and fast and they staffs were very friendly and helpful. Overall a decent stay! Definitely give this place a try if you're visiting Yamanakako for the first time, but do avoid any Japanese holiday period.

First luxury camping experience, highly recommended! Complete facilities, including open-air bath and sauna. The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are sufficient, but the quality of the meat is average. We purchased additional ingredients at a nearby supermarket. Camping in the Martian sky at night is a good experience for children! In addition, the campground is very close to the famous scenic spot of Lake Yamanaka, and it only takes about ten minutes to drive~ Pay to check in early and enjoy the sunset~ Will come again if I have the chance!

The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving. Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey. Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing. Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.

The location of the hotel is actually OK. Although it takes an hour to get from Gotemba Station to the hotel by bus, 44 stops, every half an hour. But Mount Fuji is right outside the hotel lobby window. It was a pleasant surprise for me who thought the weather might be bad and visibility was poor. The hotel front desk guys and girls were quite enthusiastic, but the room service was really unexpected! We stayed for two nights, so the suitcases and toiletries were all in the room, basically spread out neatly. But the next day when we went out and returned to the room, we found that the room had been tidied, but the two pajamas we had put on the bed were thrown on the floor!! I complained to the front desk. The guy said: Sao Li! Room service is outsourced! He will report it! Then when I took a shower at night, I couldn’t find the facial cleanser that was originally placed with the shower gel. I looked around and recalled that it must have been thrown away by the person who cleaned the room, but why? ? The milk carton after eating was not thrown away? I complained to the front desk again! A new girl changed. After she understood, she went to the warehouse to rummage around and came out with my facial cleanser. It was only half a bottle. Why did she clean it up? ? There is no other explanation Saoli Saoli🙄 So I couldn't find vitamin B later. I strongly suspected that I was also dealt with. It's not worth the money. Can I call the police? ! So I don't know whether I should recommend this hotel. I don't know if I will go there again next time. By the way, the bathtub can be used for bathing, but the plug at the bottom of the bathtub can't be plugged in. The water flows out. For a moment, I thought that it was not just letting the water flow while soaking...

Lovely view of mount Fuji everyday. Room is huge with ample walking space. Bathroom and toilet is separated space There is a large onsen that you can use everyday, with yukata provided. Location is along a stretch of road, easily accessible by car. Do note that the car park can get filled up quickly.

Overall very satisfied. The location is next to Lake Yamanaka, very quiet. There are Chinese staff in the hotel, communication is barrier-free. When I went there, I almost couldn't buy a ticket. The staff helped me to find tickets for nearby stations and arrived smoothly. They also provided pick-up and drop-off services, which is very important because it is not convenient to take a taxi here... The hotel has electric power-assisted bicycles, which are 1,000 yen cheaper than those on the street. This car helped a lot. You can see Mount Fuji a few steps from the hotel entrance, and you can see the red Fuji in the morning. The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are clean and simple, and it is quite comfortable overall.

The room is a five-minute walk from the Hirano Beach of Lake Yamanaka, facing Mount Fuji, which is great, but there are not many restaurants around, so it is suitable to drive there and buy food to cook in the B&B. By the way, choose 101 or 102 to have a direct view of Mount Fuji. Then you need to check in by yourself. If the mobile phone link cannot be done, there is a small house next to room 101 with an iPad to handle it.

The hotel location is remote. Dinner had to be pre-booked which we were not aware of, and told was full when we checked in. Front desk staff was helpful and helped us find a local restaurant for specialty Unagi meal. We drove about an hour & half round trip for dinner. The onsen is clean, has outdoor and indoor. In my opinion, room is overpriced given its remote location.
