Welcome to Sai no Yado Fūsen — A Healing Journey Embraced by Nature.
I took my mother out to play and chose Yamanakako specifically. There were few people and it was quiet to see the red leaves. I stayed for two nights and slept until I woke up naturally. The environment was very good and I could walk out to see the red leaves festival.
The transportation was very convenient. I rented a bicycle from the boss. I rode to Yamanakako on the first day, took the bus to Kawaguchiko at the door on the second day, and continued to ride. On the third day, I rode to Oshino Hakkai. 😃
I was too lazy to go to Gotemba, but it was also very convenient after looking at the map. In the evening, I ate the boss's recommended Shoya and the boss's beef hot pot. The boss's wife was very enthusiastic and honest. Next time I bring my baby here to stay and continue to ride a bike. 😃😃

Outstanding
SSherwin ChooArrived at night, so it was a little challenging to find the location even with Google maps. Transportation did not seem convenient but we had a rental car (which I think was necessary) so we could move around the sights. The hotel manager was super polite and helpful. Kept the place very clean and tidy. Very well organised. Be also served a a packet breakfast everyday at the dining area. The bathroom was a shared japanese style bath but it was private if you locked it when in use. Overall, it was a great stay
SSMO32Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.
GGGGGbabybabeThe hotel has a simple environment and many attractions nearby. It's a first-class place to check in. Especially when you step out of the hotel in the morning, you will feel very good. Facing the entire Yamanaka Lake, you will be amazed. There is a cafe next to it where you can have breakfast and enjoy the beautiful lake view. It is a pleasant surprise. You can clearly see the entire Mount Fuji in front of you... priceless at this moment
GGuest UserIt is a simple hot spring hotel, not luxuriously decorated, but comfortable. Staff are polite and full of smiles. Breakfast and dinner were good, but after we stayed for three nights, the dishes became repetitive. The rent is not expensive, the service is available, and the environment is comfortable.
GGuest UserThe best location to see Mount Fuji. Rooms 102 and 101 are facing Mount Fuji. The living room and dining room are downstairs, and there are two rooms upstairs. Although there are five beds that can accommodate 10 people, one bed is in the attic, which is very inconvenient. There is only one bathroom on the second floor, so it is best for 4 people. However, the view from the room is so good that the 5 of us were very happy to stay there. The hygiene is good and the facilities are very complete. The surrounding area is relatively deserted, and there are convenience stores and small restaurants about a 10-minute walk away.
6666manfenTake the bus from Shinjuku to Hirano Station and walk for three minutes to the hotel. The actual experience is better than expected. The location is high and clean, facing the lake of Hirano Beach. It is the first choice for those who do not pursue luxury. It has everything you need. There is also a bathing pool, heating in the room, public toilets for washing and bathing, and a simple restaurant and 711 nearby. This hotel provides free bicycles for us to ride. A round trip takes about three hours, but the best view is to ride from Hirano Beach to Nagaike Water Park in an hour. It is very beautiful to ride and see Mount Fuji. It is very close. There is a very beautiful plank road for a round trip. You don’t need to rent a car. The best experience is to ride a bicycle. I got up at six o’clock and saw the pink Mount Fuji. The hotel is managed by an elderly person and there is a family-like son who runs it together. Finally, a suggestion is provided. Slippers can only be worn barefoot with socks. It is easy to slip. The stairs are high and not suitable for the elderly. The price is right and the experience is good. I recommend it. The photos taken after checking out are messy, but it does not affect the experience!
TTamubonilinzexuHirano Beach is a new and popular tourist spot in Yamanaka Lake. It is convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise. It only takes three minutes to walk from the B&B.
The transportation to the destination is also very convenient. It takes only one minute to walk from the bus stop.
We lived on the second floor. It was indeed a public toilet - it can be understood as the toilet in the previous school, but there was a public bathroom. The space was large enough to take a shower and soak in the pool. It was so comfortable in the cold weather. The men's room was on the second floor and the women's room was on the first floor.
The breakfast was also good. The Japanese are really good at frying hamburger patties. They are juicy and delicious. You can add rice and tea (coffee) by yourself.
The husband and wife and the whole family came to the battle. The wife is very good in English, and the husband is responsible for reception. Because I got burned by my own problem (I will talk about it later), they provided gauze, which I am very grateful for.
Let me talk about the bad places for your reference. First of all, Japanese-style rooms are dark all the time because they seriously violate ergonomics. I have lived in Japanese-style rooms twice in nearly ten years. The first time was in Kyushu. I sprained my waist by taking the teapot on the low table. This time, it was because I was lazy and inconvenient to move because I sat on the floor. When I took the tea from a distance, I accidentally poured the boiling water on the side of my calf. Fortunately, it was not a big deal and I walked 20,000 steps the next day.
Secondly, there is no air conditioning in the room, only a heater. Even if I wear socks on the tatami floor in winter, my feet are still very cold (I went to soak again before going to bed). I can only lean on the side of the heater. I have to turn off the stove when I sleep. One is that there is a smell and the other is that the noise is a bit loud and I am not used to it.
In short, this homestay has more merits than flaws. I have written my real experience in bits and pieces for your reference.
In addition, the sunrise experience at Hirano Beach is really beautiful, see the first and fifth pictures I posted, but it is actually not bad to stay at Shiratori Beach, see Figure 6, it does not prevent you from watching the sunrise and there are swans to accompany you.
SSebastian AndresThe facility offers what it says, we had all the services mentioned and had a quiet night. The location is a bit far and there is not much transportation option so you have to pay attention to the last bus. We checked in a little later and they were waiting for us, so thank you very much for that.
WWanqufensige🏨Although the hotel shows signs of age, the price/performance ratio is great💯!
It’s so close to Mount Fuji that there are no friends🌄, and the overall experience is definitely worth a try✨.
Although it looks a little old-fashioned on the outside🕰️, the comfort and value on the inside are definitely beyond your imagination👌.
Staying here, you will find the perfect combination of cost-effectiveness and beautiful scenery💖, don’t miss it! 😉
GGuest UserCould not arrive to the hotel because trains got cancelled due to a typhoon. This was nobody’s fault but the hotel didn’t want to show any sign of goodwill and waive at least a part of the cancellation fee. Just kept repeating their policy. Lets the customer bear all the costs of a natural disaster. Disappointing, not customer friendly at all.
