While all the accommodations in Zao are expensive, this price is sufficient for a night's stay without meals!

This is a hidden gem of a place to stay in Zao at this time of year, and I understand that the facilities are old and inconvenient, but they just apologize and there is no sign of anything moving forward.
Even old facilities are not a problem as long as they are properly cleaned.
It is still a problem that the showers in the bath area do not have hot water after 9pm.
It is also a problem that there is never a staff member at the front desk.
