The location is very good, just a 3-minute walk from the station, very close to the Zao Bus Station. The room is clean and tidy. Although the shared bathroom has hygiene issues, it is actually quite clean.

Cold welcome. Few explanations. The owner gave me the key in 5 seconds by telling me "room eight" and making signs to tell me "1 floor, left, then right", except that the numbers on the room doors were in Japanese, so incomprehensible to me... Finally, she went up to show me by repeating "eight!" 2 or 3 times, as if it were obvious.

Old lady run family hotel. Second floor has a few rooms. The owner does not speak English and has to communicate in English. Basic but worth the money.
