The room I originally booked was 24 square meters, but the room the hotel gave me was only 12 square meters! After negotiating with the hotel and related platforms, we had no choice but to accept that the room was too small to accommodate two suitcases. The bathing area is also very small and it is difficult to enjoy it properly. We would not recommend this hotel.

Nice and friendly staff, within 10 minutes walk from Yamagata Station. The natural public hot bath is small but nice and serves the purpose of relaxation. Limited choice of food served in breakfast but the food is nice. Free alcohol drinks during 6-9 pm. We selected a room with a loft bed, and if you use it you need to put the bed sheet yourself.

The room was clean and comfortable.
The front desk was very helpful and flexibly responded to our requests.
However, it was disappointing that we were notified about the dining venue renovation after we had made the reservation. Although breakfast is their selling point, we were told the meal was a bento box, and the contents were completely different from what was advertised, which honestly disappointed me.
Even if it can't be helped, I would have liked a little more effort.

The hot spring was under maintenance but I didn't know until I arrived. I booked 1 room with 2 double beds but ended up with 2 rooms with 2 double beds. The experience was poor. The room was ok overall, but the arrangement was poor.
