Far from bus station. About 25 mins walk. Breakfast is very good with a wide variety of choice. Onsen is good. Service is friendly. Surrounded by Lawson, 7 eleven and family mart. Lots of shops around.

The bath was great.

Satisfactory in overall

I think this hotel is in a great location and offers excellent service. However, it's a 20-30 minute walk from Yamagata Station, so if walking is too much for you, I recommend taking a taxi. It's a short walk if you stroll around town while sightseeing, so don't worry about that. Also, there's a hot spring on the first floor, but it's open until midnight, so if you want to take a night bath, there's a slight chance you might miss it depending on what time you get home. Of course, there's a regular shower room and bathtub in the room, so you can wash up there. In addition, the morning bath is open from 6am to 10am, so it's no problem to take a leisurely bath. With a hot spring, this was a great hotel that I'd like to return to. There's also a Lawson on the first floor, so you can buy something to eat and relax in your room.

Our room was in front of the elevator lobby, so it was a bit noisy. There was also no safe in the room, which was a problem. Also, there was a hot spring bath on the first floor, so we went to use it a little after 6:30 in the morning, but while there were eight laundry baskets, there were only three washing areas, so it got crowded and I think everyone had an unpleasant experience. I was a bit disappointed, thinking it would be better if they limited the number of guests to five or something, and displayed a sign saying that the room was currently full.

The whole hotel gives an old impression. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature cannot be set. The bathtub is small and it's not possible to relax in it. I think there is a reason why it is cheap. There is a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel where you can park for 750 yen per night. I think the Washington Hotel in front of Yamagata Station is several times better.

I booked a smoking room with twin beds. I was able to spend a comfortable time with my friend and was very satisfied.

There was hair on the shower head. There was a coffee stain on the surface of the kettle. I wonder if they didn't wipe it. It's a shame. There is a large public bath, but it's not very spacious and there were other families in it, so we gave up on using it.

I came to Yamagata for an event and stayed at this hotel. The room was small, but it was nice that there was a large public bath! Also, breakfast was included and the rice was very delicious! I will definitely stay here again if I visit Yamagata again!

It is recommended for self-driving tourists. Although the hotel is quite historic, the rooms are clean and the facilities are good. There is a lawson and a hot spring for guests in the basement. There is also a hotel-only indoor parking lot next to it, which costs 700 yen per night. If you just want to park overnight, there are other cheaper parking options nearby. There are also many restaurant options nearby.
