The location is stunning although somewhat lonely and far from everything (no chance without a car), the food is great, but the rest is mediocre if not downright creepy. An old lady is the boss here, and she is clearly not in the mood to help her guests. The rooms were not particularly clean. You want a beer? Get one at the vending machine. Coffee? Nope. When I asked for towels for the beach, she told me swimming is prohibited. Then she added: Sure, swim if you want, but you might swim forever. It's a two star hotel, and don't expect anything more than that, despite of the promising name of the place. But they charge five star fees for their rooms. We have rarely paid this much in any hotel we've ever been to, and we've never experienced such grumpy, disinterested and unfriendly service. At 10 am on the day of the checkout she already threatened us with extra charges if we wouldn't leave asap. Best to be avoided.

A hotel in Inakahama. Right in front of you is the beach where sea turtles come, and beyond that is the floating Kuchino Erabu. It's a quiet, relaxing environment. The food is island cuisine. There's plenty and it's delicious. However, even if you stay multiple nights, the food is almost the same. The downside to travel is that there are fewer bus services compared to Miyanoura Port to the airport. It's good for relaxing and watching the sea, but if you want to see various things such as the underwater hot springs, the Western forest road, and the waterfalls, or go to see the Jomon cedars, it's inconvenient without a rental car.

I am very disappointed to have received no partial refund from the hotel, the ferries which serve the island were canceled for the whole day, and therefore at midday we sent an email to explain our inability to come. They didn't want to know anything, the amount was high especially since there were 2 rooms and we were half board, the hotel being out of the center! The weather was very sunny for once but windy, the hotel is certainly good but I advise you to reserve meals once on the island, it will reduce the bill in the event of non-reimbursement!
