I stayed at Yad HaShmona Hotel for an academic writing retreat with a group of colleagues. The hotel was very accommodating—they provided us with a classroom space to work in during the day, which was exactly what we needed. Two of us stayed in the basic rooms, while my friend and I booked an upgraded room. I think the upgraded rooms are definitely worth it—the basic rooms are a bit too minimal, while the upgraded ones come with a balcony, a coffee station, and are overall much cozier. The mountain view from the room was lovely and added to the atmosphere. The only downside is that the trash area is located too close to some of the rooms, which slightly takes away from the otherwise serene setting. The hotel grounds include extensive gardens and easy access to the surrounding outdoor area, where one can enjoy very pleasant evening walks. The setting is peaceful and has a unique rural charm. Breakfast was exceptionally good and is provided by Luisa Catering, which I also used for my wedding back in the day—they are truly excellent. Everything is made from local products, and the menu includes precise, well-prepared dishes like homemade quiche and eggs made to order. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful mountain retreat in the Judah Hills The Logos hotel is a recently renovated and rebranded hotel complex nestled in the Judah Hills. There are a number of bungalows each with amazing view of the surrounding hills. The facilities were very nice and included a small gym and sauna. The Israeli buffet breakfast was incredible and delicious. Tons of options.

Excellent hotel! My wife and I stayed there on June 5th 24. This is a second for us, previous time it was called Yad Hashmona, the name Logos is new but the hotel is the same. the room was spacious and very clean. The porch had view to the mountains. Fun to sit there. The staff were helpful. On Thursdays they have brunch instead of breakfast, it was another plus. The food was high quality, warm, cold, salads, desserts. What I think was nice and unusual is that they keep the window tables reserved for the hotel guests (others non-guests pay for the brunch). Overall an excellent experience.

This is a hotel that doesn't feel like a hotel. I stayed in one of the little cabins. It was very comfortable with a private balcony. The food was superb! There was a huge spread every day. Fresh bread, hummus, veggies, cheeses, fruit, and a nice variety of main dishes. The best part about this place is the Biblical Garden. I walked through there every morning. I enjoyed the serenity of the place. And I took loads of pictures. If I ever have the opportunity to travel to Israel again, I would stay there.
