Overleaf Lodge and Spa

Stayed here for 10 nights in August. The room and bathroom were spacious and exceptionally clean. The staff here is so warm and friendly, and a full breakfast is included. The location cannot be beat with stunning views and easy walking trails along the beautiful Oregon coastline. I hope to be lucky enough to return every summer.

We LOVE the Overleaf. We've stayed a few times over the years. We were happy to see the property once again lived up to our expectations. We booked late, so the only room available was a first floor, which is convenient, but your view of the ocean can be limited bc of the landscaping. About the landscaping though, it is incredible. So many pretty flowers and shrubs...and everything is kept perfectly. When you enter the property from the highway, you'll quickly realize its a special place. We stayed for almost a week, so we saw several people check in. Each time a person opened the door to their room, you heard a "Wow! Look at the view". Our room was very well appointed, with a kitchen large enough to cook dinner if you choose. Breakfast was included. I was hoping to sleep in, but you need to schedule a time slot, so they can control the number of people they're serving. You can eat in the breakfast area (with amazing views) or take it back to your room (which worked great bc our kids were with us). Every one of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. Make sure you download their app and check the tide charts. At low tide you will find the most amazing sea life on the side of the rocks and tide pools. We say sooo many starfish, anenome and even a dungeness crab. They have thought of every convenience that would be helpful to make a perfect stay. There is wine and picnics available for purchase, a small freezer to buy food, a small gift shop, a library with board games, and a complimentary laundry (with free detergent) . There is also a spa in the hotel, that we were finally able to use. The soaking tubs are an amazing place to relax and watch the waves (and a whale if you're lucky). The tubs, sauna and steam room are free for guests. There is also a trail that runs directly in front of the hotel if you'd like to take an oceanfront walk. This is my longest review ever. And I still can't exactly put into words how amazing this place is.

Check in was swift and staff was very good. Our room was spacious and had an oceanfront view. We walked into town on a great trail for dinner and there were four or five options. There was plenty of parking and we would stay here again without hesitation. The breakfast was just ok, kind of a school cafeteria fell and they loaded up your tray for you, that was honestly the only negative.

Wonderful stay in Yachats at the Overleaf. It was so dreamy. We will be back
