We dined at The Cliff for our wedding anniversary we were served by a young g waiter called Luke who was friendly efficient and well mannered throughout. Our food was beautifully presented and tasted out of this world. I had the braised belly pork and an orange creme brûlée and my husband had the Turkey and sage pie and the chocolate cheese cake. Our sincere compliments to the chefs and to the bar staff and everyone there for making the evening so enjoyable. Thank you for helping us celebrate 17 years of marriage.

Had a surprise spa experience visit from my daughter. We had 2 really lovely treatments each, a delicious lunch and enjoyed all the spa facilities. I would definitely return when next in the area. It was incredible relaxing, the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary & it was perfect! The hotel has wonderful views & its nice to go for a walk from the hotel along the coast. The restaurant was lovely along with the bar downstairs, we also enjoyed the spa. I can't fault anything, lovely room with a balcony too!

We booked two rooms to stay for our son’s wedding . My wife & I in a standard double and my mother in a single room. Our room was fine but there were cleanliness issues with the bathroom. My mother’s room was ok, but we immediately noticed a large sharp to the touch, crack in the shower tray. I went to reception and alerted them to the fact and they said they would send the duty manager up. When he arrived I showed him the issue, to which he replied we already know about this, I can give you a mat! When I said this room should not have been let out in this condition he replied, the hotel is full we are waiting to take it out of service to repair it!! Again I stated the room should not have been let out and would there be any refund. Immediately he replied no. I did not find his attitude at all customer friendly, so I returned to reception and asked to speak to the Manager when I checked out the following day. On check out I met the Manager Kyle. What a difference! Friendly & approachable and immediately knew of the issue, again saying we know about it and are waiting to take the room out of service. Without prompting, he offered a refund. That’s all I wanted in the first place. Kyle also apologised many times. The wedding was perfectly organised in a stunning location. Maybe the duty manager needs some customer service training as every other member of staff we came across were excellent.

My partner bought the Sunday night spa dinner and breakfast deal for my birthday and we visited yesterday and I have to say it was amazing value for money. Two treatments, an hour in the spa and £30pp off dinner. The spa treatments were great, we both felt very relaxed afterwards. But the main reason for me leaving this review is to say about the evening meal, not only was it incredible value for money with the £30pp, but it was absolutely stunning. I had the steak and it’s without a doubt one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. It was so so nice.

We spent four nights here as part of a coach trip. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent and all the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and polite. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our only criticism would be that the mattress needs replacing and the pillows. The views where amazing! Would definitely return.
