沒有商業化的氛圍，沒有城市裡的喧鬧，簡單、古樸、乾淨。在高山之中，古寺之內，可聞鳥鳴，可拂清風，置身此地，身心放鬆，雜念俱除。傍晚，可賞日落晚霞；清晨，又見日出雲海。
偶然之間發現熊山古寺內竟然有禪房可以住，果斷取消了之前預訂的民宿。禪房下樓，就已在大熊山的頂端，可以輕鬆欣賞熊山美景、日落日出。寺內打過交道的每位法師、居士，都很熱情，邀請我們一家品嚐齋飯，寺內住持頓行法師空閑時間還特意邀請我們品茶，暢聊熊山今日往昔，真是難得的體驗，下次有時間一定會帶家人再過來小住一段時間。
