We had a few misunderstandings with the reception staff, since no one spoke English properly and we couldn’t speak Chinese, still they mixed up a few things. They made processes, such as a later check in than expected and paying, more difficult than they should have been. However, the room was nice and clean, looked like in the pictures. The food from the room service was already cold, apart from that alright. Breakfast was really good and the staff there was super friendly and helpful. Laundry service was worth the price, as it was really good as well.

When they learned that I wanted a quiet room, they thoughtfully arranged a room near the community. Second, when I entered the room, the decoration was fashionable and upscale, there was no odor, and it was very clean. There were free drinks in the room, the bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, the washbasin was large, and there was free lotion (this is not available in many hotels, the skin in the north is dry, so I use lotion to fix it). Let's talk about the bed. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, the pillow is not too high or too low, and the overall feeling is great. Let's talk about food. Turn left and walk a road out of the hotel to see a food street with many kinds of food. We went to Xingyu Mama Local Cuisine Restaurant recommended by the front desk beauty Mengmeng. We ordered a set meal of 58 yuan, two dishes, one soup and two bowls of rice. The portion was so large that we couldn't finish it at all. The taste was also great. I felt that the people of Xingtai were very simple and real, and they didn't cheat customers. I felt so full that I couldn't walk. The location of the hotel is also OK, not far from Dahuoquan Park. Finally, let's talk about the cost-effectiveness. The hotel also gave two breakfasts, which were quite rich. In short, this stay at Hilton Hampton was really a surprise. I felt that whether it was the upper management or the waiters, they were treating customers with care. I started from Tianjin and have traveled in Jinzhong and southeastern Shanxi for eight days. Today, after visiting the Red Flag Canal from Changzhi, Shanxi to Henan, I was thinking about where to go next? According to the prepared strategy, I should go north and then return to Tianjin, which should be Handan, Zhaoxian, Dingzhou, or go directly to the ancient villages of Yingtan, Longhua or Daping on the outskirts of Xingtai. But I always felt that there was a hint pushing me to make another choice. Finally, I locked my eyes on Xingtai and chose a hotel in Xindu District in the city center from Ctrip. I thought it would be more convenient to go there the next day. This is the Super 8 Hotel. It was my first time to Xingtai and my first time staying in Super 8. I arrived at around 5 pm. The yard was full of cars. I thought the business here was really good. The moment I walked into the lobby, I was attracted by the two busy ladies at the front desk. I have stayed in so many hotels, and the front desk receptionists are mostly young girls. There are not many professional, mature and capable front desk receptionists like the one in front of me. The state of their work makes the whole lobby convey the atmosphere of a five-star hotel. At least I think the aura here is very strong at this time. When checking in, I asked one of the ladies if there was any place to eat nearby. I didn't expect her ability to figure out the guests' psychology to surprise me. She said that if we just want to eat home-cooked meals, there is a restaurant not far ahead. Her dumplings are delicious. She said that she often goes there with friends. Is it okay? I said I was just thinking about eating dumplings. It's great. She said, I'll give you my friend's phone number. She is a member of that restaurant. If you go to the restaurant to eat, you can enjoy the member price by showing this phone number. At this moment, I was overjoyed and suddenly felt that the lady in front of me seemed to be a messenger sent by God to guide me, a stranger, how to go and where to eat. Her enthusiasm for the beauty of adults made me, a hungry and tired traveler, feel inexplicably moved and satisfied. I learned from another lady at the front desk that she was also a manager. This was my first impression of Xingtai and Super 8. Of course, in addition to this, the hardware facilities of Super 8 are also impeccable. From all the details, we can see that the managers here have good aesthetics and care, which can be seen from the use of soft water equipment in the bath. After putting away the luggage, we went to the dumpling restaurant. Everything was as the female manager said. The dumplings and dishes were great, and we also enjoyed the treatment of members. After dinner, I returned to the hotel and lay on the bed. I had a deep thought. I repeatedly asked myself, what is travel? What is the meaning of travel? I think that traveling is to get close to a city, a village, a house and a tree that have been destined by fate, and the people waiting there. They are actually old customers in unfamiliar places. Since God has destined everything, why don’t we slow down, slow down our breathing, and dance gracefully with the magic wand of God?

Nice hotel...Very nice location, just in between the railway station and Tienyi mall, which is at 5 minutes walking distance. Their breakfast is not served in the hotel but outside on a public square and it is way below the average. It looks more like lunch, it is too greasy and unhealthy. They should exclude this unealthy breakfast from their price, i.e. decrease the price for 15 rmb, and make it optional. Whoever wants can pay these 15rmb and eat that garbage.

房間很乾凈，酒店旁邊就是一個購物中心，吃飯買東西都很方便，服務很好，雖然因為入住時前台未核對房間後期預訂訂單，導致第二天一早被叫醒告知一層的同房型都被團隊預訂了，中午就要入住，無奈衹能被迫調換房間。但前台負責人解決問題的態度非常好，上來先道歉，沒有推脱責任，幫忙搬行李，送房卡到房間，還免費升級了房間，讓人心裏很舒服。下次再來還住這裏。

In front of the door in the evening is a dining spot similar to a food stall, with beer, barbecue, etc. The hotel is very close to Xingtai Museum and Kaiyuan Temple, within walking distance. The only drawback is that the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry areas.

The hotel is in a courtyard, so it's like a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Not only is the location good, it's convenient to eat nearby, but more importantly, it's very quiet when I sleep at night. It's already 8 o'clock when I wake up. I'm someone who has very high requirements for a good night's sleep environment. Man, this store really didn’t disappoint me. I was in a hurry to get the charger and left the room. I was reminded very heartwarmingly that otherwise I would have to go there again. All in all, it’s a pretty good store and it’s worth planting.

Great location. Has a big shopping mall that is 10 minutes walking distance where you can get various foods and has a grocery store. Staff are nice and professional. Room is spacious and clean! Has a nice laundry room! The only problem I encountered was the gym. It was listed as 24/7, but they actually turn lights and air conditioner off after 11pm. However, they did open the service for me upon request at 3am, but I was told they stop service at night to avoid affecting other’s sleep.
