Mi Yi Hui (Xi'an Xianyang International Airport T5 Terminal)

First time staying in a capsule hotel. It looks small from the outside, but there's actually decent space inside. Sleeping alone, I didn't feel cramped even with my bag next to me. It has air conditioning and an air purification system, so it wasn't stuffy at all. The mattress was very comfortable, and it seemed quite clean.

The room wasn't big, but it was clean and didn't feel stuffy. The only thing that would make it perfect is if there wasn't any snoring nearby.

Coming out of Terminal 5, there's a shuttle bus available. The capsule hotel is tucked away in a corner of the airport, so visitors arriving late at night might need to ask around to find it. However, its quiet and safe location is a big plus. There are restrooms and washing facilities right next door, complete with hot water.

The room is well-equipped, but the soundproofing is terrible. I could clearly hear the person next door snoring. Around midnight and 1 AM, kids were screaming and talking non-stop, and no one tried to quiet them down. I was woken up from my sleep. If you're staying here, definitely bring noise-canceling headphones.

I arrived pretty late, so I just slept at the airport directly. It was super convenient and surprisingly quiet. The next day, I even had time to explore the airport a bit. Overall, a good experience.

After getting off the plane, I called customer service, and they gave me good directions; it was actually quite easy to find. Just make sure not to ask airport staff for directions, as they might send you the wrong way 😵💫 (because T5 has three concourses). The front desk can store luggage, there's an airport restroom diagonally across, and if you walk a bit further, there's an M Stand coffee shop, a fried chicken place, and a convenience store. We just made it to the convenience store at 10:29 PM to grab some food to eat 🤣. It's small but has everything you need. The only downside is that the doors close quite loudly, so asking the staff for earplugs would help. The shared airport air conditioning is outside the pod, and there's a ventilation fan inside. After closing the door and lying down, it cooled down quickly. There's a pillow and blanket that looked very clean and had no strange odors. Being able to lie down for a few hours during a layover without leaving the airport was really satisfying.

Located inside T5 at the airport, it's super convenient – about a 5-minute walk to the domestic check-in counters. The small space is quite cozy, and the lighting is comfortable. The air conditioning was a bit weak, but for a quick rest, it's still pretty handy.
