The room I booked had a balcony, and on the second night, the hotel upgraded me to a courtyard room on the first floor for free, making it even more comfortable with a lovely courtyard where I could enjoy tea and sunshine! The hotel staff were very welcoming; they even provided me with milk, which I usually drink in the evenings! The hotel is conveniently located, a 10-minute drive from Xiangyang Railway Station, about a 12-minute drive from the ancient city, and about a 20-minute drive from Tang City! There's a very popular restaurant nearby called Lao Xie Jia Xiangyang Beef Noodles, always packed in the mornings! There's also a restaurant called Pu Xiao Guan next to the hotel; the food is good, especially the freshly steamed pork buns! The only downside is that the breakfast was a bit simple; it would be perfect if it were more substantial!

I drove here on National Day this time, and I was most afraid of not having a parking space, but I don’t have to worry about it at SDIC Jiayue. There are plenty of parking spaces, both underground and above ground. I give this a 10 points. This hotel has high integrity and is owned by itself. Unlike the floors and parking spaces of other hotels where I stayed the next day, they were shared with other hotels. (Mainly, SDIC Jiayue was fully booked, so there were no seats available the next day).
Secondly, the location of this hotel is a little far away from the ancient city and Tangcheng, because I thought that I didn’t care about these problems because I didn’t drive. There are few places to eat and drink for late night snacks nearby, but you can order takeout. If you check into the hotel early in the evening, the hotel has a QR code for ordering food that you can scan and order. Off-topic (the chef in our five-star hotel is available 24 hours a day and can cook as long as the guests need it. This can be improved, although basically no one eats late-night snacks in the hotel). In addition, the operation of turning on the TV program is too complicated. If you are old and don't know how to operate it, you should just watch TV and change channels as soon as you turn it on. By the way, I would like to criticize the front desk. When guests check in, it’s a bit awkward for two staff members to chat in front of me, right? I care about this very much and feel disrespected. In fact, I am very unhappy about this matter. I hope your leaders will see this.

For such a high-quality hotel, breakfast in the morning felt a bit chaotic. Not enough staff, guests left, not cleaned in time, etc. This cannot be blamed on the hotel, because there were too many people during the National Day holiday, and everyone was comparing notes. All the hotel’s middle-level leaders came back to work to provide services. I chatted with a hotel leader for a long time. In the end, I gave the hotel a 10-point satisfaction rating. I will come to SDIC Jiayue next time because the state-owned enterprise is guaranteed. I hope the hotel will improve a bit and become the No.1 hotel in Xiangyang city in the future. SShiwen酒店位置不錯，在樊城區，離米公祠不遠。新裝修的酒店，大廳還有淡淡的裝修後的味道，房間裏放有吸味的炭包，不過房間裏已經沒有什麼味了。
酒店房間不小，與預訂平台上的照片基本一致。喜歡酒店裡的茶餐桌，還放有兩人用小茶具，非常休閑方便。酒店智能化程度挺高，房間內燈光、窗簾、電視、馬桶等都是智能化的，好是真好，不過需要學習適應一下。酒店衞生沒挑兒，由於是新酒店，被褥乾淨舒適，衞生間乾濕分離，淋浴水流均勻舒適。
酒店是華住會成員店，交會費送早餐，這種營銷方式有效，但總感覺不太舒服，有點兒強制性。服務很好，服務員很主動，介紹吃喝遊玩的地方，還不錯。尤其是我退房以後，把手串落在了房間，他們在收拾屋子的時候及時發現，聯繫我並妥善保存了物品。為他們這種拾金不昧的精神點贊👍。

One of the hotel crew FangFang, willingly helped us washed and dry our laundry and put it back in our room, dropping us a handwritten note. It was a very nice gesture from her and she didn't want anything in return. We felt touched by her actions and just wanted to give a shout out to her good service.
