Hotels near Former Residence of Chen Huacheng, Xiamen

The B&B is great, the environment is very clean, the house is beautiful and artistic, and the supporting facilities are of high quality. The landlady is very nice. Breakfast is not included but she still prepares breakfast every day. The house is quiet in the middle of the bustle. It is only an 8-minute walk from Zhongshan Road and very close to the light rail. I will stay here again next time I come to Xiamen.

Location: Pretty good (right next to the Zhongshan Road), also quite strategic cause it is close to a mall and subway station (Zhenhai Road). I'm very satisfied with the fact that my room was facing the Zhongshan Road. I felt quite lucky cause I could see the view of Zhongshan Road every morning and night just from my room window. Service: Quite friendly, especially the cleaning and the restaurant staff. They are so kind to me and my father. Although there was a little problem in communication since I can't speak Chinese well, I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Hotel.

Location was great as it’s on Zhongshan road, however the place is quite old and cleanliness could be better. Other than that, no complaints

I am disappointed with my stay at Yipin. Saw the ratings that were decent so I booked a promotional room, knowing it would be small and that’s okay with me. But I am very disappointed over a few things. Firstly, I arrived close to 3pm (check in is at 2pm) but my room wasn’t ready. Had to wait for a while for the room to be ready as they cleaning other rooms. There was a very strong 下水道 (drain) stench from the toilet, and i could smell it even as I tried to sleep at night 😭. Room was clean, but the water kettle was crusty and disgusting. No hair dryer, towels were disposable ones. No connection in the room (I can’t use my data roaming) and wifi I can only connect it the one at the reception because the room wifi requires a China number (hk and macau number also cannot). Sound proofing is bad (but I can accept that for the price paid). Though I must say that the location is very convenient, at the back alley of the shopping street BUT that meant that cars can’t enter 🥲 my didi driver dropped me off at a Main Street and I spent quite some time locating the hotel while dragging my luggage along. Also because it’s located at a back alley, it might not be the safest for solo female travelers like myself. Conclusion: This hotel is not a good deal. Only book it if you prioritize saving money (it’s also not THAT cheap…) over comfort/safety. I will not visit this hotel again.

Great place near lots of good food. Didn't have any trouble checking in as a foreigner. The staff was extremely helpful and helped me get a SIM card as well as book a ferry ticket. They did a great job and I'm very thankful.

I am very happy with the family room which is very nice, comfortable and has a landmark city view. The location is good. It is very near Zhong Shan Lu (buxungjie). The toilet bowl is the one which has the functions of warming, cleaning and auto flashing. I am impressed by the ”smart housekeeper”, in the form of a small cylinder,. I verbally gave instructions to it and it would execute your instructions. It can also chatted with you. It is amazing. At my floor, there was a small but very nice garden. . If the hotel can help customers to buy ferry tickets, it would be excellent. Currently, non- PRC residents are unable to buy ferry tickets online.

The hotel is good for a short stay. The location is great but I first missed it because the 1st photo on description is not the hotel building. It is a little loud frommthe outside but after 9 or 10pm it was quiet and I had no troible sleeping.

Nice and clean hotel. Great location too, it is in the middle of shopping district. Plenty of dining options.

This room is very good. The projector is very clear and it has membership. You can watch whatever you want directly. The location is also very good. Zhongshan Road is right outside the door. There are many snack shops and it is very convenient to take a taxi. We checked in late and there was no elevator, but the lady at the front desk helped us with our luggage. If we have any questions, we can just send them a WeChat message to contact them. They also sent some travel guides and food recommendations. The service attitude is very good. They specifically reminded us to be careful to prevent fraud when we come to Xiamen.

We booked a Mu room, the room has a small terrace, the children like it very much. Unfortunately, the weather was too hot and I couldn't enjoy it. The terrace looked out to be some small attractions with fewer people and it was quite comfortable. There were refreshments at the hotel on the first day, and the pastries and breakfast were good. It's just that the hotel is a little less, if you can have a chair for rest, it will be more perfect! Overall, it's not bad. In addition, the hotel has a pier luggage transfer, time needs to be reserved. Remarks: I really don't appreciate disposable bath towels 😆
