Het Gästehaus ligt op een rustige plek, dichtbij Xanten. We hadden kamer 5 op de bovenverdieping. De kamer zelf is niet erg groot, de badkamer is wel ruim en ondanks het jaren 70-sanitair prima bruikbaar. Bij de kamer is er gebruik van een tafel met stoelen en parasol in de tuin en van de keuken in de garage, wat fijn was. Daar konden ook onze fietsen staan. De bedden waren hard, de kussens erg zacht en het dekbedovertrek was synthetisch, wat wij tijdens een warme zomernacht niet fijn vonden. De tuin is alleen te bereiken via de garage met een zware kanteldeur. Daardoor is het gebruik wat omslachtig. Al met al vonden we de kamer aan de dure kant voor wat geboden werd.
