This hotel is undoubtably dated in parts, the rooms especially. However you could say it adds to the charm of this beautiful old building which is a blissful retreat. On arrival and unpacking, about to leave the room for the pool when we noticed the patio door was broken and couldn't be locked, not the best start after a long day. Swiftly sorted by the manager Brian who was nothing but professional, polite and a complete asset to this establishment. In fact all staff deserve a mention for their dedication and professionalism. We very much enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return, the pool area if you are looking for a clean, peaceful, quiet time would be hard to beat anywhere.
