Quality Inn Hotels in Wytheville

We overnighted at this property on our way back from Florida. I would rate the accommodations adequate. The room was a bit ”used”, but clean. The cabinet that housed the refrigerator was broken, as was the cover on the AC unit. Neither of these issues affected our stay, though. The tissue box in the bathroom only had 3-4 tissues, which was not enough. The ice machine on our floor also was broken. Supposedly due to COVID, the breakfast was no longer self-serve. A staff member was positioned to serve guests. There were several guests waiting to place their orders at 6:30am, so we passed on the free breakfast and stopped at a fast food place instead...

This hotel is excellent for anyone who needs to take a break from driving for a long time. It is located right next to the the intestate highways and is very convenient. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was good considering the price. The service was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were super fast and easy.

Very good location, very easy access from both interstate I-77 & I-81. Front desk was very helpful & friendly. Our room was very clean, spacious & very quiet. Beds & pillows were really comfortable & clean. Swimming pool was very nice & enjoyable. Onsite restaurant & bar was great with delicious food. Would stay here again.

Stay at Travelodge Wytheville hotel within driving distance of Roanoke Regional Airport. Amenities include business center and complimentary coffee and tea. Rooms offer complimentary wireless internet ironing facilities HDTV as well as coffee and tea facilities. Attractions are Big Walker Lookout Beagle Ridge Herb Farm Bristol Motor Speedway Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre and Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Museum. Restaurants are within walking distance. Pets are welcome for a fee.

If I could give this entire hotel a -10/10 I would. Arrived late around 1130pm, checked in quickly and headed to my room, opened the door and someone else is sleeping in the bed. Poor lady almost had a heart attack!! What if this was the type of person who sleeps with a gun next to them?! Myself and my boyfriend could have died!!! I went back to the front desk explained the situation and turns out they gave me the wrong room “Oh woops! You’re supposed to be 142 not 143!” Yeah OBVIOUSLY. So I finally get to my correct room and I walk in and the whole place smells like someone had been smoking in there for 25 years. 1 out of the 3 lamps worked. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom floor was sticky and gross. The bath tub had dirt in it and the toilet seat was broken. It was so late and we had been driving half the day and I was too exhausted to even bother going back to the front desk. “It’s just one night and then I’m out as soon as the sunrises” was what I kept telling myself. I had a reservation for the following week for one night and when I checked out the next morning I cancelled it. When asked why I was canceling, by the same man who gave me the wrong room number the night before, I laughed and said “Well you were there when you all gave me the wrong room number for starters”. Then I explained how disgustingly dirty this whole hotel is. He proceeded to try to give me 20% off my next stay but didn’t even bother trying to apologize for the disaster that was my previous stay. 20% off for that would have been nice!!! I paid $130 for this piece of crap, I could have stayed at a nice, clean and well put together Marriott for that matter!!

The hotel is dated but, was clean and reasonably priced. There is easy access to I-77 & I-81 so, I didn't have to travel far during my passing to NY from FL. This is a good find if you're looking for a simple, clean and budget friendly stay. The staff is great and after hours check was a huge plus for me.

Actually we booked a different hotel closer to Bristol, Tn. It was a dump! I was really upset thinking I wouldn't be able to find any place nice at the last minute. Much to my surprise, I found Comfort Suites in Wytheville, Va. We had to drive a little farther, but it was worth it. The rates were great, but the room exceeded my expectations! The room was clean, the linens were clean and soft. The bathroom and shower was clean. The beds were delightful. We actually slept in and got up feeling rested. Everything worked...all the lights, heater/a.c., hair dryer. The continental breakfast was well stocked, and offered many choices. My husband enjoyed the pool, said it was just the right temperature. Thank you for going the extra mile to make our stay a great experience.

First night of a road trip and had pre-booked a room with our Marriott account. Usually have great experiences. Not this time. First clue was only 4 cars in the parking lot upon our 6pm arrival. Second clue was when we got to our 3rd floor room. Very odd layout, couldn’t watch television from the work desk. Moldy grout around tub and soap holder. Room looked like it was still in the 70’s with orange carpet, pale blue bed skirt and large useless wood piece holding a television. That really is a cosmetic issue, but hearing about recent renovations, I would have thought a better upgrade would have occurred. Except for the bathroom, the room was fairly clean. So after a great dinner in the downtown area, we returned to our room and prepared for bed. While my husband was brushing his teeth, someone attempted to enter our room. Door handle rattled, shadows seen at bottom of the door. Kept us awake and on guard all night with deadbolt, manual door jam and other furniture blocking the door. It could have been another traveler at the wrong room door, but with only 7 cars in the parking lot……Why would the hotel put travelers so close to each other? There are other Properties, closer to downtown that appeared to be newer and nicer. Would not stay here again.
