"Very nice new hotel, great facilities, great staff! You can actually simply stay at the hotel for a few days and enjoy breakfast, dinner, yum cha, coffee, dessert, swimming, water fun, gym, yoga class, cycling class, and much more!"
"The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The balcony was accessible from all rooms and large enough to move around on without feeling cramped. Fantastic views over the ocean offering a sunrise to inspire your day. The secure parking was outstanding. Staff were friendly and accommodating and common areas of the property were consistently clean. Overall, unbeatable value in a prime location and well worth a return visit.
If you happen to be staying in a waterview apartment, consider requesting placement towards the southern end of the building for uninterrupted views."
"An underwhelming experience for our first stay here. We booked this location for the advertised resort style amenities, pools etc and certainly paid for resort quality accomodation. Our room was tidy enough but on closer inspection was quite dirty and in need of a deep clean.. from filthy curtains, mouldy shower, dirty bathroom door etc. The rock pools are very clearly neglected with bird poo over almost all pool chairs, debris and baby wipes in the pools. The food for the most part was disappointing. The pool bar wasn’t opened everyday which was advertised as being open and one of the main reasons we booked a girls trip here. When it was open had very little choice of drinks with exorbitant prices. The staff were friendly."
"The reception, housekeeping, restaurant and bar staff were all super friendly and very helpful with tips on where to park and what was good to eat and drink. The Urban King room we booked was very clean, roomy and modern with a luxurious King size bed, 50 inch flat screen TV, plantation shutters, a balcony, free standing bathtub and large shower that had excellent water pressure 😃.
This was a superb hotel with everything you need at your fingertips."
"To be honest, the hotels there are generally not good. Ibis is one of the hotels I am more satisfied with in terms of hygiene conditions. The location is also good. Overall, I would give it a score of 7."
"Very nice accommodation.
Lovely and clean, comfy bed.
Easy, hassle free check in .
Walk downstairs to pub.
Free parking.
Definitely recommend and would stay here again 😊"
"Very happy with our booking and subsequent stay we had at the Bucaneer Motel at Long Jetty. Friendly service upon check in and the room was perfect. It came with all we needed for our short stay minus the unnecessary razzle dazzle. It was clean , tidy and cozy. Location was great too , close to a big park and the pelicans. 👍"
"The hotel is on the coast of the town. The waves are big and you can hear them in the room at night. The room is not big, parking is free, the restaurant is beautiful, light pollution is not serious at night, and you can see the Milky Way 🌌"
"This was a family trip with my wife and little baby girl. Was recommended by a friend that has been a few times with his family. And honestly this was one of the best short getaway trips from Sydney so convenient for all amenities and beaches and shops. Highly recommend this amazing place."

Very Good
VVibhuI had a wonderful stay at The Entrance Backpackers. Jonah, the innkeeper, made me feel welcome right from the start — friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with local tips.
The place itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained. I really appreciated how safe and secure it felt, with clear rules in place that keep everything organised and respectful. It’s not a party hostel, but a place where you can relax, meet people in a welcoming environment, and feel at home.
If you’re looking for a great value stay in The Entrance — clean, safe, with a warm and well-run atmosphere — I would highly recommend The Entrance Backpackers. Jonah’s hospitality really makes the difference!
邱邱The room is clean and tidy, there is free parking, breakfast with bread, milk and juice, etc. It is about 500 meters to the Great Lake, and it is very close. There are three long boardwalks over the Great Lake. Watching the sunset is a good place.
GGuest UserHi
I have to say this is the 2nd time we have stayed at the park, and we were very happy with the 1st time. 1st time we stayed in a cabin for 6 nights and then our caravan when the work was completed for a week.
The staff were fantastic.
This time we were very disappointed 😞.
The bed was very uncomfortable. Needs a topper to soften the caravan mattress and low height pillows which didn't help. The TV was not scanning to channels and had rabbit ears as the antenna clipped to the fire exhibitor.
As for staff we only had contact on arrival for the key, we left at 7 am, hence dropped the key in the box. The office lady was quite pleasant on arrival 😄.
I don't think we will stay there again, which is ashame as our 1st time was good. I feel for $607 for 3 night stay the standard of the cabin was very disappointing 😞.
GGuest UserCute out of the way hotel. Our room had lovely view of the river and parkland. Beds were clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient at right outside our room. Kitchenette was very small but was well
Stocked. A bit hard to manage with kettle and toaster at breakfast- could only accomodate one at a time, but everything was clean. Had to use bathroom sink to clean cups and plates as there is no sink. Bathroom is clean, sink only slightly stained from doing double duty as kitchen sink. Staff were helpful and friendly, checkin was very easy.
GGuest UserThe room is very old, the experience is extremely bad, the furniture is broken, dirty and old. The location of the hotel is very good, the scenery is good, there is a heated swimming pool, and it is next to the beach. The hotel does not have a self-operated restaurant to provide breakfast. There are restaurants, parent-child playgrounds, etc. downstairs. A disappointing experience, if the hotel is not renovated, it should not come again.
GGuest UserThere were solar panels installed right behind the cabin and building works for more cabins going on just passed them, however, this was not difficult to accept and the bush scene beyond these was lovely. The walks nearby are excellent and shops and facilities were close at hand. The pool looked amazing but was too cold for me on my trip. The staff were very accommodating and the cabin itself was very comfortable.
高高This is the first and only hotel run by a Chinese boss on our three self-driving tours around Australia! It ’s so kind! The hotel is well-equipped, clean, and pleasantly surprised with a delicious English breakfast buffet! The courteous front desk guy and the hospitable Northeast boss really make our family feel so kind! Friends from Australia, like you, highly recommend!
GGuest UserBooked this based on location & price. Hubby read the reviews & said it didn't sound great. I like to give things a chance & was only 1 night.
We arrived and were greeted by Julie. She was pleasant.
Our family room 212 was spacious, facing the car park.
Kettle, toaster, microwave & WIFI worked, TV looked decent gave up trying to watch anything on it, and used our laptop & phones.
Bathroom was fair, mattresses were fine, you get what you pay for, it's a 2 star motel not luxury end. We just needed a bed and shower for the night & we got it.
Pool was nice, kids had a ball, we left early in the AM.
We drove down the block and realised the bad reviews are for the EL LAGO Water Resort, which is the tourist park & that looks shady not for the EL LAGO Water Motel we stayed at.
Cheers
GGuest UserUnfortunately after booking just after close on Website but open on Trip.com which I booked through, I couldn’t reach anyone to tell me how I would access key after hours. Arrived at hotel and waited/tried everything for a little while before by fluke owner passed by on way out & apologised, gave keys. Upon booking room it stated free continental breakfast, owner advised they were not able to do breakfast, as they only just added it BUT haven’t started actually doing it, big let down for travellers like my daughter & myself :( clean room, bar rubbish already in bin upon entry & no jug to make a cuppa. Bathroom room a little bit of an issue to brush teeth with door open.
Power point hanging out of wall. Great morning view once out of room. Close to Wyong Hospital where we were visiting a relative.
