Wynyard Hotels with Bars

Management & Staff all excellent. Friendly welcome & assistance during stay. Lovely Breakfast. Parking marks could be better - maybe longer. Didn’t pick up on car cameras all that well. Space is plenty big enough. Suggest the owner check it out to see what I mean. I was in a new Landcruiser which is quite big and has excellent mirrors & cameras but we had to get out of car to check the angle and how far in between lines & how far forward without hanging over walkway in front by too much.

We stayed here before our flight from Burnie / Wynyard to King Island, and I'd happily stay here again if in the area, especially if staying longer than just the one night. Our room was spacious, well equipped, the bed was comfortable and parking is right outside your door. There is a washer / dryer available at the motel, and staff are lovely and helpful. The motel is right by the Inglis river, so you have a lovely walk right there, or the shops and restaurants of Wynyard are just a few minutes walk the other way. We had fish & chips from Wynyard Seafoods on the Wharf, which is practically next door, which was popular with locals & visitors alike. The motel is less than 5 minutes drive from the airport (BWT).
