The Hui-style architecture in Yancun is a cultural treasure, but it is inevitable for outsiders to overlook it in a hurry. The manager of Wuhuatang, Zheng Ge, has profound cultural literacy and spent an hour to guide us. This trip made our trip not only about rapeseed flowers but also a cultural treasure. After seeing it, I gained a basic understanding of Huizhou culture. Of course, the comfort of the rooms in Wuhuatang is also above the standard.
Mingxun Courtyard is indeed worthy of its reputation. The small courtyard is very romantic and the rooms are also beautiful. It is suitable for staying for a few more days. There are many messages from guests in the guestbook in the house. The small courtyard is in Yancun, about 1,000 meters away from Sixi. It is very comfortable to walk all the way there. There is also a cat and a dog in the small courtyard. The so-called coziness is just so-so. The breakfast is very good, and the Pu'er tea is very fragrant, which is suitable for preparing for a day of 20,000 steps. Lunch and dinner are also provided, you can eat a little simple, and there is also seasonal wine brewed by the boss, but I didn't dare to try it at 55 degrees. After leaving the small courtyard, you can walk along the road to the river. There are pavilions and water wheels. There is no one on the winding road, and you can harvest a beautiful sunset. Sixi and Yancun are two villages. I prefer Yancun, which is less crowded and beautiful. There are only insects and birds singing, accompanied by birdsong and flowers.

This is truly an excellent boutique hotel. The Manager and her team of ladies see to every details
A simple breakfast is provided, suffice for the village vibe!
Nestled in a 800 year old village, some days there are too many local tourist bustling around
If only Miss Xu (the manager) would explain a bit of hotel background and its history (translated to English), that would be perfect!
Our stay was nice. There are a lot of things to do nearby by taxi. The staff was very helpful to organise taxis and visits. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food for lunch or dinner was good, but we would recommend to stick to Chinese options, western desserts are not worth it.
The B&B is located by the river (creek) in Zhang Village, with an elegant and quiet environment! There is also a dog ”Wangzai” and a cat. After the rainy season, you can directly see the bench bridge on the large outdoor terrace (April is still the rainy season, and the village has not yet built it). Fortunately, the bench bridge is not unique to Zhang Village, and the bench bridge in Shangtan Village is also spectacular (attached with Shangtan Bench Bridge Figures 9 and 10). The owner and waiters of the B&B are very polite and considerate. The room layout style is antique and well-equipped, which is worth recommending.
Nine years ago, after I graduated from graduate school, I came to Wuyuan on an impromptu trip with my new boyfriend. I was attracted by the name of Gui Qu Laixi and stayed there for one night. From then on, I have a soft spot for Wuyuan and never forget my hometown.
Last year, the lovers finally got married. They planned to come back several times but failed to make the trip. The epidemic has finally passed, and Wuyuan was chosen as my first tourist destination. I will definitely go back to my hometown to have a look. The environment is better than before, with bright restaurants and beautiful rapeseed flowers, but the old house still has familiar recipes. , the familiar atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and comfortable as soon as you enter the door, which is very beautiful.
The room I stayed in back then was called Shanzeyou. When I came here this time, I happened to see the handsome guy at the front desk cleaning up. I took a peek and saw that the happy look back then seemed to be right in front of me. The room I stayed in this time was opposite Shanzeyou and was called Hehoegui. , it was the room that the two poor students envied others to live in 9 years ago, and now they finally live in it. ”In the morning, they clean up the wasteland and return home with the moonlight and hoeing” is a beautiful longing in childhood. I have always kept it in my heart. When I get older, I realize that returning is too extravagant an ideal. It requires courage and financial strength, but the ideal is still there and I will keep working hard for it.
The country house is very suitable for fast-paced migrant workers to take a vacation and relax. The boss is super enthusiastic and the aunts are great at cooking. The bathroom supplies are very good. Some rooms have bathtubs. Taking a bath at night is really not too comfortable. Come and visit the boss We can help you book a taxi to go to various scenic spots. Wuyuan is not big, so it is convenient to go anywhere. You can come and take a stroll when you have time. The rhythm of the countryside is really healing.
It's a pity that workers' holidays are always in a hurry. This time I didn't catch up with everyone to warm up the stove and make glutinous rice cakes. I hope I can stay for a longer time next time and enjoy the slow and comfortable life~
The B&B is clean, tidy and cost-effective in Wuyuan, and the quality of sleep is also good. The meticulous and borderline service provided by the housekeeper Xiaoqi makes people feel the warmth and sense of belonging that a B&B should have. It is worth coming back, seeing outsiders but not outsiders.
Ps: Thanks for the room upgrade and the delicious No One Brand coffee.
The first hotel we stayed in during the trip amazed us as soon as we entered the door. It was such a grand Hui-style building. It was indeed Zuo Zongtang's old residence. The housekeeper was a very gentle woman, who spoke softly but took care of everything. The room was spacious, and we didn't expect that the toiletries in the B&B were no less than those in big stores. The bedding was white with hidden flower embroidery, and the owner's care was fully realized. The breakfast and dinner we booked in advance were quite delicious. There is also a private garden opposite the B&B. After opening the password lock and entering, the whole small garden was all ours. It was a great feeling.
It’s especially quiet. During the National Day holiday, there aren’t many people.
The room is very clean, the space is large, and it has its own restaurant, which is very convenient
In the evening, I walked on the shiny cobblestone road after the rain. I ate dinner before the restaurant closed at 8 o'clock. I met the internet celebrity dog Huahua and fed Meow Meow.
Early the next morning, I sat in the yard and had breakfast. It was so comfortable!
Everyone in the whole store is very enthusiastic and I really like it💕

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is very good, the proprietress also waited very late, the next day I got up and opened the window to see the blue sky and white clouds, Qingshan Ancient Town, and the proprietress also specially gave more breakfast, ate a full meal, and finally gave some play suggestions, good mood from a moment of surprise
PPWe arrived in Wuyuan on April 3rd only to find out that the rapeseed flowers had already fallen. At first, we thought our trip had ended before it even started. Fortunately, a young lady at the hotel went out of her way to help us find a solution. Following her advice, instead of going to the popular Huangling village, we chose the northern route, where several villages on the hills, likely due to the cooler climate, still had the flowers in full bloom and the fields were vibrant with bright yellow. Had we not stayed here, we would have returned home disappointed.
Another impressive aspect was the food, which was delicious at every meal. Honestly, the Chinese food at other stops on our trip wasn't to our liking, but here it was exceptional. We didn’t even need to specify the menu items; the hotel simply asked what we could eat, such as chicken, pork, beef, etc., and then prepared various dishes accordingly. This approach is quite convenient, allowing us to enjoy great meals without any hassle.
GGuest UserI deliberately avoided the hot Huangling and stayed in Yancun for two days. It was a very comfortable experience to live in Tianjingsha.
There are more peaceful villages here. The appearance of Tianjingsha houses retains the mechanism of wooden houses and has a faint wood fragrance. When I came, I happened to encounter a rainstorm in early summer. Raindrops fell from the patio into the pool, and the white noise was super healing.
But the various living facilities inside the house are actually very convenient. The details such as toilet water pressure and toothbrush soft bristles are very well done, and you can feel the owner's intentions. I was a little worried about the hygiene of the old house, but I found that the mattresses were very clean and tidy (tested by people with allergies)! ! !
More importantly, the service and quality control here are no less than those of star-rated hotels, but they are full of human touch. I have to talk about the golden butler in particular. The dishes cooked by the golden butler for us are very delicious. The dishes are grown by themselves and are very fresh. They will ask us about our taste preferences intimately. They are very homely instead of home-style restaurants. There is no class taste and it is very daily but delicious! Hahahaha.
The Golden Butler slays the whole place. She is very responsible and patient in helping me mail back my lost items. She takes care of all kinds of things in life, such as contacting vehicles, etc. She cleans the yard clean and tidy, and is very proactive in understanding your many subtle needs. She serves Yangchun noodles with fresh fried eggs, and also shares with us a lot of the boss's clever designs and interesting local Jiangxi stories. It is really rare to be able to provide such service, and I also want to be such a warm woman. Like it, the Golden Butler deserves a chicken drumstick and a raise, hahahaha.
GGuest UserThis summer, I chose to live in Wuyuan. It was really a great experience. During the day, the sun can soak in the forest pool of the hotel to play in the water. At night, I can go to the nearby net red attractions, the girlzhou, to watch the iron flowers and fireworks show and other performances.
The environment of the homestay is super beautiful. It is built by the river, there is a large yard, one step at a time, and it can be seen that a lot of thought has been taken care of. The homestay also has a swimming pool, surrounded by bamboo forests and green trees, the forest is really full, and the water in the pool is also super clean. The homestay also has a private pier where you can fish and fish.
The location of the homestay is very convenient, quiet and comfortable to enter, and bustling city. The homestay is very close to the high-speed rail and high-speed. It is a 10-minute drive from Wuyuan Net Red Scenic Area, Nvzhou. You can go to a Datang feast with a foot of the accelerator.
The owner of the hotel has very good service. The niche play route recommended to us is very good for summer to play in the water and summer. The family suite with river view has been upgraded. The room is very clean and tidy, the bedding is very comfortable, the homestay is very quiet, and the quality of sleep is super good.
The breakfast is delicious, all local specialties of Wuyuan, there are steam cakes, cakes, tofu bags... the favorite fried dough sticks and hemp fruit.
Ttabar correaWe are a family from Uruguay traveling and getting to know a little about the most rural China and this establishment exceeded our expectations. My children discovered their ”Chinese aunt” in Nancy, the kindest and most generous person you could find, the owner of the place. Always working, always willing to help, even on issues that had nothing to do with her. Spectacular attention, beautiful views, delicious food. Thank you so much. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, decorated by an architect with unsurpassed taste.
AAnonymous UserA super satisfying trip to Wuyuan, there are too many ancient villages, rafting and water parks around. Recommended for self-driving or chartered cars. My favorite is the small train in Yantian Scenic Area, Feifengxia Swimming Cave, the constant temperature water park in Yunvzhou, and various exquisite wooden sculptures. Because there are intimate homestay couples and housekeepers, it is very comfortable to play outside when the weather is hot. When I went home, dinner was always ready and the room was cleaned.
GGuest UserHighly recommend this homestay, the boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic, the homestay is clean and hygienic, the decoration is also very distinctive and antique. The surrounding scenery is very good and the price is very high.
