The whole family came to Mount Wutai together. It was off-season so there were not many tourists. We arrived after 11pm, but there were still many parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel. It was really easy to park. After checking in, the front desk upgraded the room for free. The hotel has no elevator. The front desk guy took the initiative to help carry the suitcase to the second-floor room. Each room has a separate wifi, and the speed is quite fast. The hotel is very close to Shuxiang Temple. Because it is off-season, Shuxiang Temple opens at 8 am in the morning. It is really inconvenient and cold if you don't drive. Next time I come, I will choose a warmer season and I will choose to stay here again.

When I was choosing a homestay on Ctrip, I fell in love with this one at first sight. The decoration was simple and elegant, and the price was very reasonable. It was worth my while to stay there.
1. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. We booked two rooms. The triple room is very spacious and comfortable for two adults and one child to sleep in. The house has floor heating, which makes it very warm.
2. The facilities are complete, and there is a laundry room on the third floor. There are also tea rooms and scripture copying rooms. The children had a lot of fun stringing beads in the evening.
3. Excellent location. Near the core business district, the boss will drive you to the bus stop near the business district, and it is very convenient to go anywhere by bus.

GGuest UserA really beautiful place to stay in the quiet mountains of Wutaishan. The hotel was tastefully appointed and the room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a Marshall speaker which was a really nice touch. The services were super attentive and personal: Manager Chen and his team were very friendly and highly accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed for my daily expeditions, drove me to all the temples and monasteries (within reasonable distances of course) that I wanted to visit every morning and picked me up in the evening back to the hotel. My stay there was so lovely that I extended it for two more days, which was still far from enough!
The hotel restaurant was also very nice. Food was of superior quality and the ambience was lovely.

GGuest UserThis trip to Wutai Mountain accidentally dug into the treasure homestay! The room was brand new and bright. I heard from the boss that it just opened this year and there was no damp feeling of the old house at all. The decoration is very distinctive! The log-color furniture is matched with modern style decoration style. Every corner is full of surprises. The photo can't stop at all. It just snowed when I came. The room was very warm. Sitting on the balcony, drinking a little wine and chatting and enjoying the snow. Zen and the beauty blended! And the price is really conscience! I thought the room at this price would be simple, but the facilities were not lost to the star, the hotel, the large floor-to-ceiling windows were facing the green mountains. There is a scenic shuttle station at the door. Since there is no appointment for the vehicle to enter the scenic spot, the boss picks us up and is very careful and warm! ! ! Super recommended! Will stay here next time!

ZZuzuFacilities: There is a dirt road outside the B&B, it is dirty, and there is no parking space. We just park everywhere. It was around 9pm when the owner let us park next to a huge smelly garbage dump. There is a construction site outside the hotel, which feels really bad. The public areas in the B&B are more elegant, but the room facilities are outdated. There are no hangers or places to dry the clothes, and the experience of putting them on the railings of the walkway is very poor.
Hygiene: Overall it is relatively clean, but there are small bugs on the floor and walls at night. (The first picture was taken when I came back today to collect clothes. There was no hanging paper when we checked in)
Service: After parking the car at night, the male shop owner took the initiative to help carry the box and did not let the box walk all the way in the mud. The female shop owner also asked us enthusiastically how we came, how to get there, and how to get to the scenic spot. She also took the initiative to ask us not to drive the next day because there were many people and cars, so she asked the male shop owner to take us to the starting point and take the bus, which was great with our children. Sit alone. It turned out that the next morning there was nothing about last night. I took the initiative to ask her how to send us off. She immediately pretended to be stupid and said you can take the bus yourself! I was very puzzled. After I went out, I met the male shopkeeper. As soon as he saw us, he immediately said, ”Beauty, you can go.” (Obviously he didn't forget the conversation last night) But the woman chased her out and said, yes, they will go and take the bus by themselves. The man understood it as soon as he heard it, and I identified the fake enthusiastic female shop owner. In the end, I asked the male shopkeeper to take us out of the sun-drenched and dirty dirt road and take us to the entrance of the village to take a bus. I took my children for more than 10 stops along the way to the Wu Dad Temple.
There are many B&Bs and hotels on Wutai Mountain. This B&B is not worth more than 500 in terms of location and setting. Having a lot of frivolous public facilities in the store does not make any sense to our guests. The experience of staying here is not good!

GGuest UserThank you to the young owners and their parents for their hospitality during our short stay - for transporting my parents and I to and from restaurants for our meals and dropping us off at the main tourist attraction. Also special thanks to the 阿姨 for the delicious breakfast, her homemade mantou and pickles. Mrs Han was so generous in also helping us heat up leftovers takeaway from lunch for our dinner. The beds were comfortable. Initially the room was too warm but the young Mr Han helped to sort out the floor heating and heater so that the room was more comfortable. The recommended driver, Mr An, was very good, who brought us safely to Pingan.

As a girl, I always felt that I needed some courage to drive to Wutai Mountain alone. I called the store to learn some situations. Buoying confidence all the way. Life is to constantly challenge, success once a big step forward.
It is impulsive and fate to come to Wutai Mountain. It is accidental and inevitable to live in this homestay. The service is really good. The boss is also very talkative. After chatting, it feels suddenly cheerful.

GGuest UserHighly recommended! During a solo winter trip to Wutai Shan, this was a great place to stay. The room was very comfortable (and warm), and the location is very close to the tourist bus station (very useful for those coming from Taiyuan or Beijing by bus), as well as the main temple area in the central valley. There are also many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The price was also very affordable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Definitely I would stay here again!

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

HHanqing～yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. The room is clean and hygienic, and there is plenty of hot water for bathing. It is essential to take a comfortable hot bath after a day of sightseeing. The boss is very warm and hospitable. When I booked it with Ctrip, it didn’t include breakfast. The boss gave me breakfast as a gift, which was very considerate. I drank two bowls of millet porridge and polenta to warm up my whole body. I also had eggs, steamed buns, cold dishes, and the boss’s homemade snacks. Pickles, a delicious breakfast, a meal out in a scenic spot costs at least 30 yuan😄. The dinner prices here are also very affordable.
The boss is a local and very hospitable. If you have any questions or need help in Wutai Mountain, you can consult the boss. When traveling to Mount Wutai, I recommend everyone to stay and eat here.
