Chaka Salt Road Hotel

The room was very large and I slept very comfortably. I got up early to watch the sunrise over Chaka Salt Lake. It was beautiful.

This hotel is the most outrageous I've ever stayed in, bar none. It's truly disgusting. Facilities: It's called a hotel, but it's actually a B&B. The basic amenities and room facilities are nothing compared to other hotels over a hundred dollars away. Cleanliness: See the pictures. It's truly disgusting. There were hair residues on the bathroom towels, sand and gravel in the duvet covers, and ***** hair from other guests. The most outrageous thing was the spare quilt was covered in hair. I suspect this hotel doesn't change the sheets and quilts; they just give it a quick cleanup after the previous guest. Ambiance: I can only tell you, it's not as clean and hygienic as the pictures suggest. I don't know how Ctrip got the four-star rating. They probably just tried to fool travel agency customers. They said the full four-star rating was actually two stars, so they could explain to the tour group guests that the rooms were completely soundproof and tiny. Service: The water heater was a storage-type heater, and I ended up running cold water halfway through my shower. It's incredible, taking a cold shower in the highlands where temperatures are only a few degrees Celsius. The restaurant opens at 7 AM, and after 7:05 AM, the only options are eggs. So if you're planning on having breakfast at the hotel, forget it. Either get up after 6 AM and fight the tour group for breakfast, or settle for an egg. I haven't written a bad review in years, and this hotel is truly eye-opening. If you haven't been fooled before and don't believe in superstition, give it a try. I have to be clear: all I'm saying is my personal experience, and I'm not exaggerating. If I find any of this to be fabricated, I'll have my Chinese citizenship revoked.

The front desk lady is very cute and the service is thoughtful. The room is unexpectedly clean. I didn't have much hope because the northwest is windy and sandy. The room is also very spacious and there is a small tea room. I like it very much because I had altitude sickness on the day I checked in. The hotel chef also brought me an oxygen concentrator and electric heater. Special thanks!!!
