We arrived without a booking due to confusion with a holiday booking on our part. We were recommended to stay here for the night. Luckily enough, we got the last 2 rooms. Bruna (hopefully spelt correctly) couldn’t have been more helpful at reception. The atmosphere was wonderful. Could tell straight away it was a family run hotel as it was so friendly and accommodating. They put our food in kitchen fridges for the night too. Breakfast was stunning and dinner looked really good too even though we didn’t eat there. Rooms were nicely furnished with comfortable beds and were very clean with plenty of amenities. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Fantastic hotel, so different from the chain hotels. Lots of little bespoke touches make it a memorable stay. Justin and Brunah were lovely. Service at breakfast was very slow in taking our order, but worth the wait.

My mum and dad used to stay here in the 80s and 90s and it’s a place my mum used to love so I booked a table to celebrate her 84th birthday. We haven’t visited here for a while and were a little dubious about going as the hotel has changed hands a few times over the years and we’ve not always had the best experience. I needn’t have worried as the whole experience from start to finish was perfect. We’d booked a table by the window to take advantage of the beautiful Broads’ views and were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy and had a lovely vibe. The decor has obviously changed over the years and it’s now very tastefully furnished and decorated, with very comfy seats and an almost seaside feel. There was a little card on the table wishing my mum a Happy Birthday, which she loved, and she had a lovely time reminiscing about her previous visits. The menu is varied with everything from sandwiches to luxurious seafood platters. The service by Lisa and all the staff was fantastic and the food was excellent with large portions, especially the desserts! The tiramisu and strawberry cheesecake were amazing. Lisa knew it was my mum’s birthday and put a candle in her dessert, which was a really lovely touch. The toilets were very clean as was the restaurant. Not a fly in sight! A wonderful experience, way better than expected, and we will certainly be returning. Thank you to Lisa and the team for making my mum’s birthday so special.

Our first impression on walking through the door was not great. Hotel lovely, if a tad dark! But nobody to greet us at all. Stood at reception for 5 minutes after ringing bell. Lady that was sitting behind chatting finally came over and said the receptionist was checking rooms and just to give her a few moments. I took a seat. 20 minutes later! Yes 20! Finally someone came and checked us in, and she was lovely, but waiting 25 minutes to check in was not acceptable. I think the lady behind when I was waiting was the manager/owner. She should have come over immediately. Can she not check people in? So not a great start. But on the positive. Room was lovely if a tad small. Everything you needed. Lovely tea tray, fan and nice linen. The single bed in room was not comfortable! Horrible outlook onto car park, which they cannot help of course. But it was noisy. Got woken up early, bins being dragged about, cars etc. We are in restaurant but for a fairly expensive menu, I was gobsmacked that we had to go and order ourself at bar! Nobody to take orders for food and drink in a nice hotel? I also didn't like the fact that almost everything in the hotel had a price tag on! Very off putting. I understand you have a shop downstairs next to hotel, but just have a sign up that's says if you like anything, check out our shop. On checking out, 3 members of staff at reception and not one of them acknowledged us. Took a couple of minutes. Again, not the way to run a business. Customers like to feel special. But we still had a nice stay. Would we return, not sure st this price point and all the little issues. Breakfast I will review separately.

This hotel fully deserves the highest accolade we can give it. It has a special waterside location, with a beautiful interior and an incredible attention to detail is evident throughout. In addition to this , the staff were efficient, friendly and approachable. One young man ,Justin , was super and all the staff appeared happy and worked well as a team. The food was excellent and on our first night a group of 13 sat down and were all served at the same time with a number of varied dishes. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We were here for 2 nights to celebrate a friend’s special birthday and it was perfect.

We had a two day stay at Wroxham Hotel and wished it was longer. The hotel has a superb setting right on the broads. Beautifully decorated throughout and very clean. The staff made us so welcome, especially Justin, nothing was too much trouble for him. We had breakfast and one evening meal both were delicious.

Had lunch here with family. It was a very hot day and I did reserve a table, I would recommend doing this if you wish to sit inside. There is lots of outside seating avaible with views of the river also. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but it's cooked to order and it was very busy, but we had no problem with that especially if you want fresh cooked food. The food did not dissapoint, was hot, tasty and well presented, we all enjoyed our choices and lovely views of the river while we ate. Will definitely visit again. Big shout out to our waitress Lisa, she was friendly attentive and helpful, Lisa added to the whole positive experience to our visit.
