Inspect the rooms! Bathrooms are not clean. I should have taken pictures. Mold on tiles. Electric switches sticky. Filthy lamps. Toilet barely flushes. Very little attention to detail and apparent deferred maintenance. Friendly staff and great bacon at breakfast! Management should pay closer attention to housekeeping.

We held our military reunion there on April 25th and 26th. Staff were available and courteous. Carey did an excellent job as our coordinator and was always accessible. Our luncheon and dinner food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Dale and Phil were excellent hosts. Rooms were clean and in good repair. Large hospitality room was available for our use. Only drawback was Packy's Sports bar, bar area, which was overpriced (not during happy hour), small servings, and bar staff were not responsive to complaints.

Always nice stay here at the hope hotel. Friendly staff and good food at the restaurant. The hotel is a little dated but very nice.

It was... Okay?
Was on 3rd floor, no warm water to shower. Let shower warm up for 10+ minutes, but still ice cold. Sink water piping hot though? Confusing water situation. Unable to shower on 2 night stay. :-(.
Otherwise it was a liveable space and we got what we paid for. Could have used another table/sofa/ chair in large empty space.
Not hotel's fault but there were 4-8 young men constantly lingering in lobby seating right by the front door making comments about female guests /attire and just putting off toxic/ negative vibes... But I guess that's what happens when you mix war games con with a sailor moon fashion / performance event. But if I had been traveling alone, would have made me feel VERY uncomfortable.

Not staying there again
The hotel is in a pretty bad shape, water leaks throughout the hotel and a smell of dampness and water damage. The rooms definitely need an update, TV didnt work most of the time, the door lock would not work properly so had to make numerous trips to the front desk to het help. Staff was friendly and helpful and is pretty much the only good thing in this hotel. Fire alarm sounded off during the stay and i wasnt even aware of it as it did not work in the restaurant part of the hotel. The restaurant itself is decent but in my opinion could have several more options. Overall i do not think i will pick this hotel again.
