Complained about a rude staff member who is no longer there , so was offered free meal , accepting was a mistake , absolutely awful old food that should have been binned , which I’m 100% they knew because I was asked about 20 times if meal was ok , any other restaurant would not have given it to a customer, moral of the story is never complain if you are going to eat there !!!

Held our daughter’s wedding here on Sunday 25/8/24 - the whole day was perfect. The venue is a beautiful old inn which has retained all of its original features and charm. The staff were all very friendly, polite and professional. The meals were nicely presented and tasted lovely. We also stayed overnight and our room was very spacious with a large bathroom (Room 5). Tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff, again, very pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a wedding venue and would definitely return to stay.

Great little find! We stopped overnight after visiting Wrexham and en route to our nest destination. Lovely, welcoming coaching inn with quirky character. Staff very welcoming, good first rate and rooms spotlessly clean, roomy and well equipped. Would heartily recommend.

Had an amazing meal with family. Had not been out in a while and chose to go here. So glad we did. The staff are lovely, a young lady named holly was so cheerful and friendly every time she appeared to help us she made me smile, so happy to help us with whatever we wanted. Lovely atmosphere and another lady named Maria was amazing checking if we had everything we needed. Felt really welcome there can't wait to go back. Thank you to all staff you made us feel welcome x

We ate in the Resturant, It was their Chippy Tuesday offer. The portions were generous, fish was cooked to perfection. Staff friendly, especially Jamie who served us all evening. The price is very reasonable at 9.95, drinks were as normal price for area.

The Wynnstay Arms is old building with character including uneven floors (my husband is sight impaired and managed fine). Unlike many new hotels the noise wasn’t as loud due to the brick walls. The bedroom was spacious, the bed was firm but comfortable. There was one chair and an Ottoman we stayed in room 6 which also had bunk beds. It had an over bath shower which was powerful and hot. The bar below was noisy but stopped at a reasonable hour. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, we received a warm welcome from Tyler who had a least three hats; reception, bar person and server. Louise too was swapping hats and looked after us at our table in the evening and at breakfast one day too. There were different offers in restaurant from Pie Monday and Chippy Tuesday etc. The dining area was not cramped like so many. Negatives the lights in the room were fancy but they weren’t all working. And the sink had a wobbly cold tap.
