Wij hadden met de familie een eendjes tour gepland op 2/4 en zouden halverwege onze tour lunchen bij hotel Schimmel. Van te voren via mail contact gehad en goede afspraken gemaakt wanneer, hoe laat en met hoeveel personen wij zouden komen lunchen. Doordat het eendjes bedrijf onze boeking niet had vastgelegd was de tour niet doorgegaan en waren wij veel te vroeg bij het hotel. Was voor hotel geen probleem en gestart met een drankje en daarna gaan lunchen. Goede lunch en vriendelijke bediening. Alles goed verzorgd en zeker een aanrader.

ik had bij ******* 2 kamers geboekt, er was er maar 1 doorgekomen, gelukkig waren er kamers over.
de aangewezen kamer stonk er bij binnenkomst, we hebben een nieuwe kamer gekregen. in zowel onze kamer als die van onze mede gasten werkte de afstandbediening van de verwarming slecht( vermoedelijk battery niet goed)
na 3 uur stopte de verwarming waartdoor het weer oud werd.
onder het ondelaken lagen er haren op het bed.
Dit alles gemeld, het is wel financieel gecompenseerd, maar ja daar boek je deze kamers niet voor.

Pitstop tijdens een motortocht. Heerlijk in de serre gegeten. Saté is heerlijk, alleen snap ik de uienringen op de saté niet zo. Bediening is vriendelijk, parkeren kan gratis op het grote parkeerterrein. Heb geen gebruik gemaakt van het hotel.

The restaurant and reception look good, but the rooms are very outdated. I understand why there are no photos of the rooms on the website. What is immediately noticeable is the entrance to the rooms via a steep staircase that had not been vacuumed for some time. We had reserved a so-called comfort room. This had 2 single beds that were otherwise clean and good. The bathroom was very outdated with broken tiles and the remains of a removed radiator covered with paper. The water was nice and warm and it was also clean. The room had air conditioning that also provided heat. Even at 30 degrees the room could not be heated. The light switches at the entrance to the room did not work, so the 8 ceiling spotlights did not work either. The only lighting consisted of 2 lamps next to the bed and a desk lamp. The sockets on one side next to the bed did not work. In addition to a desk and 2 chairs, there was a kind of kitchen counter with a refrigerator and a cupboard with clothes hangers and extra pillows. The sliding doors give access to a terrace. In the evening, a spotlight from the parking lot shines almost straight into the room. Fortunately, the curtains are light-tight. The breakfast was sufficient.
