Days Inn by Wyndham Worthington

NO ONE from Wyndham or Days Inn (or Worthington Visitors Center for that matter) could possibly have been to this property and STILL allowed them to have the privilege of being part of the Wyndham “umbrella organization”. This Days Inn has the rare privilege of being THE WORST PROPERTY WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO. We stayed at the Days Inn, 207 Oxford St, Worthington MN 56187 – checking in on July 11th – out on the 12th. Following are some of the things we encountered in Room 330: the lobby is NOTHING like the photos (some copy & paste work here), lamp shades in the room were stained – one with a broken shade (only lamp one worked), light fixture above the sink didn’t work, microwave sparked when we put popcorn in it (the glass turntable was missing), bathroom was dirty with a missing towel rack (holes in the wall where the towel rack was), toilet paper dispenser was broken, thick with black flies (they did give us a fly swatter) which allowed us to kill flies a better part of the night. When we were checking out we met someone checking in and they asked up what we thought of the property – we told “turn around and find someplace else or sleep in the car – it is not worth it”. It is very unfortunate to see the Days Inn brand diluted to this point - a very sad situation.

It was the worst hotel experience in my life. The room was disgustingly filthy. The owner was condescending and tried saying that I should have booked a room in his other building. The pictures on their website weren't the kind of room I was given. I booked 4 nights but stayed only one. I currently have a complaint in with ******* to get my money back for the three night. Pictures and video were sent.

I never stayed there i checked in for 15 mins saw the way the room lockked and the fact that there was no pool closed advertised on there website troubled me to. So i ask for a refund they refused told us we had to go through ******* to get our refund. So we tried and they refused because the days in called us a liar even though we have pictures which i will upload.

It was ok for the price but the walls and lampshades were really dirty. New fridge. Wasn’t told about breakfast. Pool closed.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! This hotel should not be able to rent rooms. It was filthy, thick dust everywhere on all surfaces and on the carpets. Really dirty splattered and finger prints on mirror and tv. Food in the frig. Orange peels, water bottle caps and other debris on the floor. DISGUSTING! And a very broken entry door that would not close. Advertised breakfast and indoor. No breakfast. Pool was empty and used as a storage area. It should not be listed on **********

This hotel seems to be just letting itself be run into the ground. We originally booked our stay because of the pool and breakfast included. We arrived and pool area was full of junk. There was no breakfast. On top of that the door to the outside was obviously broken and the building not secured. The room was filthy, grime everywhere, no soap in the bathtub (they were empty leaving grime underneath). Stained bedding and sheets had cigarette holes. Do not stay here unless cost is an absolute factor for you.
